My stay at the Leelu came at the end of a three week tour around India. The surprise of arriving by boat, the superb greeting by staff, the in room check in, and the availability of butler service if I had wanted it, took this hotel into a league of its own. The grounds at night, and view over the lake are spectacular. I only had breakfasts but there was an impressive buffet of mixed western and Indian choices. When my bath wouldn't drain, the engineer immediately rectified. I used the free boat service numerous times, with two options for embarking/disembarking, both convenient for local sights. I would definitely return.

Visited The Leela Lake Palace for a 3 night stay. This was my second time at Leela Udaipur. The last was 7 years back. From the time we took the short boat ride to the hotel we were treated to a truly special level of service. In the last 7 years I think the quality of room, amenities, service has gone up a few notches! Highly recommend this property.

I booked Leela Palace Udaipur in April 2025 for family stay.
We were given a grand warm welcome with drinks and music. The boat entry was the icing on the cake. The hotel staff arranged a special lake view room for us. The bottle of champagne was the highlight ***** with private butler.
All in all a night of remembrance . Highly recommended and looking forward for another stay soon.

A nice property. Excellent staff. Only negative point is that Pool depth is 5.3-5.7 which makes it inaccessible for most. Also No activities for kids. No Steam/Sauna either which should be there at this price bracket.
