Ich muss beruflich sehr oft nach Esslingen am Neckar und das Hotel Gerber ist dann mein Hotel. Es ist nicht weit nach Esslingen und es liegt sehr ruhig. Gemütliche Zimmer die auch mal am Abend zum lesen einladen. Gemütliches Bett mit verschiedenen Kissen. Großer Parkplatz und im gleichen Haus die Brauerei mit Restaurant. Leckeres Bier und eine gute Auswahl an Speisen. Preislich allerding am oberen Ende angesiedelt. Das Frühstück ist in einem Nebengebäude und ist wirklich hervorragend. Frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen, eine gute Auswahl an Wurst und Käse, Joghurt und Flakes, Säfte und Tee! Für das Frühstück nehme ich mir auch wirklch Zeit zum Genießen! Die Übernachtungskosten liegen für den Großraum Stuttgart- Esslinen- Göppingen im normalen Bereich und sind angemessen.

Die Einfahrt war Dank Google Street View leicht zu finden, ansonsten wären wir vorbeigerauscht. Riesiger kostenfreier Parkplatz und ebenerdige Zugänglichkeit. Zimmer, Bad und Bett sauber und bequem, Rezeption freundlich, aber nicht durchgängig besetzt, Frühstück wurde in der ca. 100m entfernten Orangerie serviert, bei Schlechtwetter könnte man auch mit dem Auto vor der Tür parken. Eierspeisen auf Wunsch und aus echten Eiern schmackhaft zubereitet, Automatenkaffee, kleine Wurst und Käseauswahl, aber Räucherlachs. Frühstücksservice schnell und freundlich, war aber auch nicht viel los.
