This cute Inn is located a good 12 minute walk from any station. However, you are walking through a beautiful residential area of Uji, We are local residents are living. No tourism here. Also restaurants within a few minutes. The room is bigger than most Japanese with a sofa. The bathroom is so cute and compact but perfectly usable and clean. Good water pressure and hot. I enjoyed the Sencha tea In the kitchen area. You re I a your own once you check in and Will be welcome to use the kitchen and dining areas. I would recommend us for a small family

Everything else is good. Very nice traditional Japanese-style room with complete facilities. The lady boss can speak Chinese and the lady at the front desk can speak fluent English. Communication is no problem. The only problem is that it is far from JR Kokura Station, about 1km away. You can go to Uji by taking the Nara Line.

I stayed here for two days in Kyobuki Tour. The house is nice and the surrounding environment is quite quiet. It is 2 kilometers away from the center of Uji. Just be aware that the check-in time is 4 pm. If you go there too early, there will be no one around. Just call the staff. I don't want to care about you and want you to wait.
I arrived at three o'clock and was exposed to the cold wind for a long time in the humid air. I even put on a snow mountain jacket and couldn't bear it.
But this is indeed my own problem. I didn't pay attention to the check-in time, but it was also a bit uncomfortable because the staff was not humane enough.
