Vichy Springs Resort

A hidden gem. Great family hosts, and the most wonderful springs experience. If we lived closer we would be regulars! A special place for sure. The champagne springs were an amazing experience and the semi private hits were a real treat. Lay back read and let the spring water do its thing! Tip, wear black bathers.

Amazing, tranquil place to soak, hike, rest, and breathe. Hits the sweet spot between overpriced, high-end fancy and bare bones. Everything was well/maintained, clean, and comfortable. Owners Gilbert and Marjorie are lovely. Breakfast was good. Short 7-min drive to town for lots of dining options.

We stayed in a stand-alone cottage and were delighted to open our double doors to the sounds of crickets chirping in the night air and the bright stars above our heads. We liked that the facilities were comfortable, not pretentious or fancy but had a full kitchen and seating area and the bathroom area was roomy. By far the most appealing part of the property is the combination of the lovely lush green shaded grounds, the refreshing cool swimming pool when needed and the perfectly warm champagne tubs that encapsulate your body in little bubbles. To see the spot where these rich waters come streaming from miles beneath the earth - the only place in the US where you can experience this! - is amazing. Only a handful of places in the world can give you this experience. And then the hot tub is there too, if you need/want a warming up. It's a small uncrowded resort with friendly staff and guests that made it feel private and welcoming. We went for a hike to the "waterfalls" which don't flow late summer and Fall, but are worth the walk none the less. We saw frogs in the pond, and the walk along the creek to get there was stunning. Vichy Springs is like a nature preserve with dragonflies and butterflies flittering about. It's more than a hot springs, or a resort - it's a lovely destination. I relaxed there more than I had in years and slept like a baby. Next time we'll stay longer for sure. Thank you for the lovely experience.
