Business Hotels in Ulsan

Stayed at Shilla Stay in other cities a few times, all great experiences. Here, however, toilet seat was dirty, room more worn than other ones and no box of tissues to be found anywhere and… since when are toothbrushes 1000₩ and underground parking an extra 5000₩? Lol just felt really petty, but hilarious 😅 For the price and overall experience, I would try something new in Ulsan instead of here

Location is convenient and walkable distance from Bus Terminal. Single room clean and enough for one person. Breakfast is served but suggest go downstairs bef 8:30am else there might not too much left. It is great to have laundry room to use. Overall it’s a good choice as affordable accommodation.

It was easy to play because it was right in front of the sea, and it was even better because there was a sauna! I think I will visit again if I go to Ulsan next time!

Our son and his family have moved to Ulsan about a year ago for work in the shipping industry and this was our first visit. His work colleague recommended this hotel and helped us book it. The hotel was spacious and clean, the room was comfortable, the room amenities included toothbrushes and bathrobes as well as the other usual toiletries. The staff were very professional and pleasant and spoke English well. The buffet breakfast was diverse and plentiful. The food included traditional western breakfast foods (eggs, cereal, toast and pastries, sausages, fruit, etc.) and Asian offerings such as noodles, dumplings, fried rice, soup, and a variety of salads, cold cuts and cheeses as well as meat and fish dishes). Milk, juices, coffee and tea were also offered. The food was tasty and plentiful, and ended up being our primary meal for the day because we weren't very hungry for the rest of the day after indulging in the breakfast. There is a kids activity room in the hotel that we didn't use, but that looked really fun. The gym was one of the best, and well equipped hotel gyms we have ever seen and experienced. The pool looked great, but there is an extra charge to use it and we didn't have time. The tavern overlooks a lovely garden and waterfall. Parking was very convenient. The tavern offers a nice cocktail and beer menu, but when we tried to order a martini, we were told that we could only select from the menu and that no other options were available. Not a big deal, but rather surprising. As mentioned in other reviews, the hotel is right across the street from the main entrance to the Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard, and also across the street from the large Hyundai Department store. All those locations were walkable, as was the local market street, the nearby hospital, and many of the residential high rises. We didn't walk to the beach, but we could have. We were visiting family with a 2 year old so we didn't go to restaurants while we were there. Of note, the location of this hotel is actually Dong-gu, which is the equivalent of a large American suburban town to Ulsan. It is quite far from downtown Ulsan, and about a 40 minute taxi ride from Ulsan station. There is no easy public transportation from Ulsan or the station to Dong-gu. From what I could tell, and from what my son tells me, you either need a car, or need to be willing to take taxis to go very far away from Dong-gu to any attractions or tourist destinations. We were very please with our experience at the Hotel Hyundai and will definitely stay there on our next visit.

Facilities: Complete facilities, the room is larger overall, and the sound insulation is slightly poor Cleanliness: The room is cleaned every day and is very clean. Service: Overall, it is quite attentive. The only drawback is that there is no laundry room. If you stay for a long time, you can only get laundry service.

The decisive problem I felt while going to Ulsan several times was that the accommodation was high. In fact, according to this point, if the dormitory situation is not good, it is found by emergency search in Busan, but near the city government, there are also places such as Taehua Road and Taehua River National Garden. The advantage is that it is easy to access, and the advantage is that it is cheaper than anything else. The convenience of the dormitory is that the toilet is inside the visit, not outside the corridor, and the convenience of the well-equipped items is also a point!
