Cirali Hotel

My family enjoyed 2 nights in Cirali. We had booked a twin and double and were given a bungalow in a orange grove a short walk from the swimming pool. Rooms were basic but the location was very peaceful. We found the manager to be very helpful and he organised a return transfer for us. Breakfasts were excellent. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the huge beach of Cirali and on the road to the Chimaera flame which is definitely worth visiting.

Having stayed here last year we booked again; mainly because they maintain a lovely pool underneath the backdrop of Cirali's mountain (even though there is a huge beach 10 minutes walk away). Unfortunately, I misread what was being said to me on the email and booked my flights only to find I could only have one of their bungalows for the first week. The owners accepted us as a guest, though, and arranged for us at a superb nearby bungalow for the second week while still allowing us to use the hotel's pool. The Cirali's bungalow is a short walk down the street from the pool that leads to the town (around 10 mins walk away as well) set in a well-established orange garden with other bungalows. While I find the lighting in the rooms a bit weak (I have bad vision) and the water pressure for the toilet also a bit weak, the overall effect is like living in a "cabin in the woods". Very relaxing if you want to get away from the rigours of 21st century life. And, if you like the idea of a quiet pool to share with just a few other people, the price the Cirali offers is far below some of the few other hotels in the immediate vicinity. Next year, I must try and book earlier and read the emails better.
