I made a very last minute for my son and 2 friends after they had been hiking in terrible weather for 3 days in the mountains . They loved the guest house and the luxuary of it. The staff went out of their way to accommodate them and ensure their stay was really great . It really ended their trip on a high note and they all loved it. The beach was close enough to walk to to have a swim and the Umhlanga village with its lovely promanade along the beach was only 3 km away. A quick Uber. Thank you for a great stay.

What a lovely experience with this kind and hospitable family. They even invited us for the family Christmas lunch! We spent just 1 night, but felt very welcome and cared for. The details in the house and rooms were very well done and carefully selected, and the garden was simply wonderfull!

A beautifully-appointed guesthouse, both conveniently located for King Shaka Airport but also chilled and quiet due to its Umhlanga location - just metres from the beach. Our family party really enjoyed the relaxed garden area and pool - and the associated ‘honour bar’ for drinks was a thoughtful touch.

Really excellent property with superb staff and lovely rooms. On one morning, we had an early excursion and they catered for a late breakfast for us. Also provided a barbecue with all the equipment for us one evening. Great location, only a 5 minute drive from the main centre in uMhlanga.

This guest house was great. They were able to accommodate us last minute and made us feel welcome. They helped us order in dinner after a late arrival. We had a beautiful spacious room. Excellent breakfast with cook to order options. Friendly hosts and staff. Highly recommend!

Could not have asked for a better stay at this beautiful, quaint and charming guest house! The hospitality of hosts Debbie and Claude was honestly above and beyond - they were warm, friendly and ready to help in any way possible. In terms of accommodation, the rooms were beautifully decorated, equipped with clean and crisp sheets / towels, making you feel the level of quality you could only hope for in a guest house. Food was also delicious and setting peaceful and homely. Will definitely be back!! Merci Beaucoup : )

I had prepaid accommodation but had to cancel a week later. Maison H was absolutely fantastic and refunded my full amount. Amazing service. Very helpful. Willing to change rooms as we needed a twin room. No problems.
