Lovely B&B on some beautiful grounds and very conveniently close to the cliffs. Best if you have a car as not much is within a walkable distance but things are not too far by car. Our room was spacious with lots of storage and everything was clean, well presented and worked well. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our stay A lovely breakfast with a large range of options including those freshly cooked for you but this was for an additional fee. Wonderful, friendly hosts who were also kind enough to give us local tips and a list of sightseeing options nearby. Silverstrand beach and Maghera beach and caves alongside nearby Assaranca Waterfall are definitely worth a visit. Beautiful!

Beautiful home in a beautiful spot! Julie was warm and welcoming when we arrived. When she learned we didn't have a booking for dinner that night, she quickly offered to call the Rusty Mackerel to see if she could secure a booking for us. The home is clean and has so many little touches (fresh cut flowers, candles, nice toiletries). Best of all, Julie was friendly and offered some sightseeing options in the area.

We phoned to let them know we would be slightly later than the 9pm check in time. The man I spoke to (Kenneth Doherty) told us we couldn’t stay there if we did not arrive before 9pm. He was abrupt, unhelpful and was not interested in trying to find a solution, such as leaving a key somewhere safe where we could pick it up. He did not care that myself and my 93 year old father were left without accommodation for the night and still wanted to charge me as "it was not his problem I couldn’t get there on time." Our relations in Donegal were all shocked and disgusted by this. Avoid this unfriendly and unwelcoming man, there are many other lovely welcoming options in the area.

This is our second time in 2 years staying with Ken and Julie. Colette was so kind and welcoming when we checked in. We set a time for breakfast and what we might like. Our rooms were spacious and bright. At breakfast we got excellent ideas for the area from Colette and another delightful woman, who sadly, I cannot remember her name. This is such a great location. A couple of minutes from the Visitor's Center where you can pick up a shuttle bus to the upper parking lot of Slieve League, and so close to my favorite The Rusty Mackerel for dinner, a pint and great music. The only thing that might be lacking is there not a sitting room to spend time. That being said we would come back again in a heartbeat. Thank you all for our special time there, and thank you for the recommendation for An Port.

Initially I wasn’t sure I’d be hanging around for breakfast but with the Atlantic weather creeping in I ordered last minute, the room was very comfy and modern and the bathroom was ideal just for me, the driveway a bit precarious with a motorbike but I wasn’t the only biker bedding down there for the night. I woke up warm and refreshed and wow I was soooo unprepared for the feast that was a full cooked breakfast and continental style buffet galore xx The staff were really lovely and I would defo add it to my list of must recommend highly places to stop over some amazing views just around the corner !!

Cute family owned inn. Very comfortable but basic rooms. Breakfast is not included despite the B&B name. 10 euro per person. Very close to slieve league. Close to Rusty mackerel for dinner. Wi-Fi is so weak that essentially it doesn’t work, even walking around to the other parts of the house. No common room for socializing or to play games or hang out.
