3-Star Hotels in Unawatuna

The hotel is younger, the decoration is not bad, the door object is a food city, but the hotel is not satisfied with a lot of places: the first is to make a mistake our order, the triple room becomes a double room, until 6:30 to give us A triple room; the second corridor is small, the elevator has a very unpleasant musty smell; the third sheet is dirty, the spots are stains, I have to send a picture to estimate that no one dares to go. There is no cup in the fourth room, no drinking water, no kettle, tap water is very salty, you must buy water yourself. But the service is not bad, but also some free card darts, etc. A small pool is small but beautiful. So there are advantages and disadvantages, please decide for yourself.

My review, of course, will not be about this hotel, but about the hotel of this chain, Thaproban Pavilion Resort & Spa. We booked a room at the Thaproban Beach House Hotel, when we came to check in, it turned out that our reservation at this place was missing, and we had a reservation at the Thaproban Pavilion Resort & Spa. Thanks to the Trip.com team for helping us understand and resolve issues. And the Thaproban Pavilion Resort & Spa turned out to be much better than the Thaproban Beach House. True, it is not on the beach, but the beach is 5-7 minutes away. The hotel is super, all the amenities, large rooms overlooking the ocean. Very tasty breakfasts, 2 swimming pools on site, one with salt water. In general, I highly recommend the hotel. We really liked it. And we never regretted that we moved into it.

A great hotel for relaxation and relaxation in the heart of nature, sounds and fragrances. Always clean rooms and towels, pool, lieutenant, showers near the pool and the territory itself. Bathroom is cleaned, good plumbing. Very attentive, responsible and sensitive staff, waiters. The room is comfortable. Fresh and delicious food, seafood, juice. Cook individually, so you have to wait, but always delicious, time flies invisible. Comfortable location of the hotel. In the evening, the romantic environment, the shield of the territory, the silence in the room, and behind the window the delicate sounds of nature and fresh air. A wide balcony with chairs and table, its own luster.

We had an exceptional stay at the Peacock Hotel, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Falih. He arranged a beautiful room with a stunning view for us and catered to all our needs. Falih assisted with our luggage, provided an orientation on what to see and do in Unawatuna, and was always available whenever we needed help organizing anything. Falih organized a tour to Cinnamon Island for us and recommended swimming at Turtle Beach, where we actually saw turtles. When I wanted to book a massage and everything was closed due to the rain, Falih managed to organize something fantastic for me within five minutes. The hotel itself is wonderfully located on the beach, relatively central in the bay, and has a great atmosphere with attentive staff. We spontaneously decided to extend our stay from one night to three nights. We didn’t stay as long in any other hotel during our trip. This place is absolutely recommended. Currently staying in Villa Gaetano this place is amazing.. Situated a short distance inland the location is perfect.. The family offer a complimentary tuk tuk service to Unawatuna and it is only 300 rps to get back.. The family who own the villa are lovely people and cannot help with your needs enough.. Food is delicious ( they even let my wife watch as part of a cooking demo) and delivered to your table outside your room.. I asked for a Scooter so we could get around.. They organised it.. In fact nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the deluxe room option and it was ideal.. Please if you are looking to enhance your Sri Lankan experience give this place a visit you will not be disappointed.. We were only staying for 2 nights originally but extended as we are enjoying it so much.. Well done to the owners if I could give it more than 5 stars I would..

Gayan and his team were amazing. I’ve not had such homely service like this before in all my travels! They all went above and beyond to cater to all my needs and questions. The breakfast spread was vast and memorable, days after leaving its still all I think about! The room was spacious enough for me, though, do note noise from the road could be a hindrance to super light sleepers. I’d advise you have a room not close to the road. The hotel is serene and calm, giving of a relaxed and natural vibe in a bustling area. The change is welcomed after a long day out on the beach with people. 10/10 would return!

Good breakfast, typical English breakfast, the room is quite good, it is a hotel level, there is an elevator, very close to the beach, two or three hundred meters. The only thing that was uncomfortable was that Ctrip gave a house on the first floor. The house was particularly bad. There was one on the first floor, next to the kitchen, and the room was not well ventilated. However, the hotel service is not bad, and the cleaning is clean.

Wonderful place with a lush garden in Unawatuna area in the main tourist road. They let us for an early checkin so we didn’t have to wait in the lobby area. Room was spacious with modern furniture and included a minibar. Air conditioner worked perfectly. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was spacious. Hot water worked perfectly. Modern fixtures too. Green villa was close to all the main attractions. Highly recommended for a calm, quiet, comfortable stay in Unawatuna area.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. Spotlessly clean, comfortable rooms, effective aircon & good WiFi. Superb location for the beach and all the shops and restaurants in Unawatuna. The family that run the guest house go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the guests enjoy their stay. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the Sri Lankan breakfast is an absolute delight. Complimentary tea and biscuits on arrival and complimentary tea, pancakes and home made Christmas cake on Christmas day. Lovely, genuine people who want you to enjoy your stay.

We spent a wonderful time here from 13 to 23 October, we had number 11. It's just delight - you live like in the jungle. Come out on a huge beautiful balcony and listen to the sounds of nature, rain.. Watch birds, palm proteins, insects ❤ Very good, responsive and hospitality hosts, family hotel with pleasant non-invasive service and excellent staff. In the room everything is, cleaning every day, changing clothes/twitter once every 3 days, everything is clean, beautiful! No living in the room was ever, just as the mosquitoes! A normal standard breakfast, always ripe and delicious fruit - pineapple, papaya, mango, egg dishes, toasts, butter, jem - we had enough. To the ocean 3-4 minutes, if you walk through any restaurant on the shore. Near the shops, fruit shops. In the evening, the calming mantras from the temple of Devol Devalaya are heard.. Wish Villa Watuna good luck and prosperity, and the owners of health and happy life! I advise everyone this wonderful place for relaxation and rest from the noise of big cities.
