After a good 6 hour hike from Neue Traunsteiner Hutte, we arrived to Hotel Vitaloase zu den drei Bruden on the outskirts of Unken. The hotel was quiet, clean, comfy and provided a fantastic view of the mountains. The room was incredibly hot and we couldn’t open the window without being swarmed by mosquitos, so it would have been nice to have had some air conditioning. If you don’t have a car or bike, getting to Unken will take about 45 minutes by walking. There’s a bus 5 minutes from the hotel which will bring you there if you don’t fancy the walk, though. Breakfast was not included and we did not use any of their spa facilities (as we forgot our swimming gear). We did stop by the bar to buy a couple of coffees to bring back to our room which seemed a reasonable price.

Schöne, gepflegte Wellness Anlagen, textilfrei, was wir sehr schätzen.Genügend Liegestühle vorhanden, die man mit oder ohne Textilien benützen kann. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig, Vitalsnack und Nachtessen schmecken ausgezeichnet. Wir haben das günstigste Zimmer (Kuschelzimmer) gewählt. Hier muss man dementsprechend gewisse Abstriche machen. Die Nasszelle ist eher kein. Die Toilette z.B. ist so nahe am Heizkörper, dass man sich die Beine verbrennt, falls der Radiator auf max. gestellt ist. Einige Fugen sollten ausgebessert werden, die Dusche hat graue Ecken. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau und hat unseren Urlaub keineswegs beeinträchtigt. Das Hotel ist ruhig gelegen, inmitten der Natur. Wander- und Bike Möglichkeiten sind vielfältig vorhanden. Wir kommen wieder!

Vorweg - das Hotel übertraf bei weitem unseren Erwartungen. Beginnend vom Check in über das Service beim Essen (dieses war beginnend beim sehr guten und reichlichem Frühstück, über das Angebot am Nachmittag, bis zum hervorragenden Abendessen mit Highlight des Candle Light Dinner, einfach unbeschreiblich gut). Das Tischservice durch die Damen Stefanie und Julia war top und konnte nicht besser sein. Der Wellnessbereich, die Saunaauswahl, der Pool, das Naturbecken, die Ruhebereiche - alles sehr sauber, top gepflegt und ein wahrer Genuss. Unser Zimmer (Nr. 34) war sehr gepflegt, sauber und die Betten schenkten uns einen sehr erholsamen Schlaf. Der Ausblick vom Zimmer bzw. geräumigen Balkon auf die 3 Brüder (Berge) war inklusive der Winterlandschaft ein Traum. Das Hotel bietet, wie versprochen, wirklich sehr viel Erholung und schenkt erholsame Ruhe vom normalen Alltag. Unsererseits eine eindeutige und aus vollem Herzen kommende Empfehlung für dieses Hotel und ein aufrichtiges DANKE für alles an die Familie und deren Beschäftigte!
