I don't know why this is not a 4 star hotel instead of 3! Sonja runs an impeccable, darling Swiss hotel with comfy beds, an amazing sauna/spa and the most unforgettable dinner we've ever had! The views of the Alps from here were amazing! We found out that the 5 star hotels in town send their guests to Salzano for their dinner as it is that good. Sonja took time to explain every room of the sauna and how to best use it, even when the hotel was very busy. We needed laundry done and even though they usually need 48 hours in which to do it, she got it done in 36 as we had to leave. Superb EVERYTHING at this hotel - I cannot say enough! Thank you, Sonja and staff!!
We spent a week in the Adventure Guesthouse. Family rooms under the roof. The beds | mattresses are comfortable and it has enough space for 5 pers. The large bathroom with shower and bathtub is class. The refrigerator in the room is small, doesn't matter much, because you can use the large refrigerator in the community breakfast room | kitchen. Breakfast was rich and varied. The staff is friendly and premature. You are through you and that makes it ”cozy | familiar” We liked it. We're happy to come back

The best hotel I stayed in during my self-driving tour in Switzerland.
First of all, the hotel is very, very, very beautiful. It has its own large parking lot, free parking, and there is a super large lawn behind the parking lot.
Secondly, it takes less than 15 minutes to walk to Interlaken West Station, Chinese restaurants and hot pot restaurants, and the central shopping street.
Thirdly, the service is very, very good. The lady at the front desk introduced herself as Italian, so she used Google Translate on the iMac computer at the front desk to explain the check-in instructions to us in detail: there is an elevator to go up and down the stairs 🛗 There is afternoon tea (including coffee, drinks and desserts) from 2pm to 6pm. If you return late at night, you need to use the room card to open the hotel door. Free tourist bus tickets were given, etc. It was very detailed and nice.
The room has a pleasant view, the small balcony is very elegant, and the facilities are also very new and modern. There are hair dryers, kettles, disposable mouthwash cups, and enough bath towels. In short, it is a perfect stay experience, recommended!
A really nice place to stay in Interlaken. Good rooms, clean, cosy, good bed and nice bathroom. It’s a really nice old house. Nice staff, very helpful. There is enough place in their parking garage. The kitchen is open and breakfast is good, simple, but good. If you want to visit Interlaken; this is a really good place to stay!
The hotel is located about 650m from Interlaken West station. It is a direct, flat and easy enough walk, even dragging suitcases behind you. It is an old, traditional style building, with 2 sections - front and rear - with the rear section possibly a bit quieter than the front, from a traffic perspective, but the road is not overly busy anyway. The rooms are a little dated, but comfortable. We (a couple) were upgraded to a family room (mezzanine second bedroom) in the rear section, although the main area was still relatively small. The room had a balcony, which is always nice, but no fridge or air con. Two portable fans were in the room and these were needed, in conjunction with an open balcony door, given the days were hot and nights warm. However, the important things were good - a comfortable bed and a good shower. The staff were very helpful and friendly; the predominantly cold breakfast was quite reasonable; there was a bar/lounge on the ground floor of the rear section; the Old Town was a 10 minute walk and there were a number of restaurants within the same 10 minute walk, so the location was fine. All in all, although not really modern, it was comfortable and it provided a pleasant stay.
Close to the West Station, if you take the bus from the Jungfrau, and the bus is only two miles in an hour, but only two stations are also very fast. Although there are restaurants downstairs in the hotel, it is very quiet. It was the curtain that couldn't stop the light, and the Christmas tree outside was still lit up for a night.捂脸🤦♀️
How nice it was to return to the Rössli hote in its quiet, convenient location only a five minute walk from Interlaken West railway/bus/boat interchange, from where you can explore the beautiful Bernese Oberland region and farther afield using the excellent Swiss Transport system. The hotel is a traditional, homely, unpretentious, clean and well managed establishment with friendly and helpful staff. Christopher the owner speaks six languages and he and the rest of the multi-lingual reception staff can help provide local excursion tickets, information leaflets and general help with your itineraries that save queuing at the station or local tourist information centre. The hotel provides the Interlaken Guest Card that allows for local bus and rail transport within the town and offers discounts at local shops and attractions. My room at the Rössli was very clean, simply furnished with a very comfy bed, writing desk, multi-channel TV, safe, electrical sockets including USB ports plus a shower and toilet. There is a compact lift that operates between reception and the first and second floor, whilst remaining access to the third floor is via stairs. 24 hour free tea/coffee is available in the ground floor lounge along with a large screen TV with video options. There is also a small multi-lingual library and a microwave cooker plus utensils available so guests may bring in and heat up their own foods. On the second floor is another TV lounge with video library and children’s play area. Breakfasts at the Rössli are continental style with a yummy scrambled egg and bacon option plus the usual cereals, breads, meats, cheeses, boiled eggs, jams, yoghurts and fruit juices. Tea and coffee are served at your tables by their friendly staff including Jean Louis (Christopher’s dad) who provides humorous commentary and useful pearls of tourist wisdom to his many returning guests. The hotel also provides free parking and offers a pay as you go laundry facility. Across the road from the hotel are a pharmacy, Bank ATM, Pizza restaurant and within 150m is a well stocked Co-oP from where you can stock up on drinks, fruit and snacks that will sustain your on your daily travels. As the hotel is very popular, I would advise booking early to avoid disappointment. If you want a family friendly, cosy retreat that won’t entirely empty your wallet, then I would recommend the Rössli without hesitation.
This is a fantastic location. It was across the way from the west train station and not far from the main town. We had a fantastic big clean room overlooking breathtaking views. The breakfast buffet had a large selection of hot and cold food, However due to lack of staff when things ran out, they weren't being replaced very quickly but the waitress did her very best and was very pleasant when asked. The only complaints that I would have is that the hotel is very out dated and in need of a bit of maintenance. Also the Irish bar is not very Irish! and no beer on draft so very disappointing But overall a fantastic stay.
Pros: Train/bus stop 8 min walk along the river Harder Kulm nearby Big room Clean Breakfast included Lounge area with a microwave, fridge, tea Cons: No AC Check in is with the restaurant cashier. It was fast and easy. They even let us do early check in. The room: we had a four bed room. It had two separate rooms and one bathroom. One side of the room faced the river and the other side faced an abandoned building that connected to the hotel. We didn’t feel safe at night leaving the windows open, so it was definitely hot in the room. My bed was firm. Pillows were good. The room was clean and had plenty of space. They also have plenty of places to plug in your electronics. Bathroom: Small. The water always ran hot enough and the water pressure was great. They provided a hair dryer and a combo hair and body soap. Lounge: this is downstairs and it is perfect. It has a communal microwave and fridge. tea is available all day. They have couches and tables. Complimentary Breakfast: included scrambled eggs, yogurt, cereal, toast, fruit and cheese. You do get to choose from any of their hot beverages. This hotel does not have an elevator Tips: The hotel provides with a free bus pass that can be used while you’re in town Harder Kulm is a 15 min walk along the river. Ask the staff for directions The train station and major bus stops are an 8 min walk
