Most Beautiful hideaway at the River. After our Trip through the kalahari We enjoyed the warm hospitality of the very friendly staff. Exzellent steaks for Dinner and a large breakfast menue. Thanks a lot and the next time we will stay a bit longer

We were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience of our stay, from the friendly welcome at reception, great food to the lovely room. For the staff, nothing was an effort and the room was immaculate and spacious.

Absolutely loved our stay. The staff are so friendly and they all helpful, what a pleasure! Dinner and breakfast was world class! The rooms were comfortable, clean and warm and the fridge was well stocked. Will highly recommend River Place Manor.

The Location, Service, Food, Staff, and price excellent. The lodge is situated on the bank of the Orange River. Accessibility is great. Upington is n great place for a stop over from Namibia to or from South Africa. Absolutely no complaints. Worthwhile to visit the River Manor.

River Place Manor is in a wonderful position on the Orange river. Our room was spacious and comfortable: a luxuriant pleasure after a week in the Kgalaghadi Transfrontier Park. With friendly staff and good rates, it is a lovely place to stay. There is a restaurant with a simple menu that needs pre-booking, which was more than adequate for one or two nights. The breakfast was excellent and swiftly served in time for the 8.30am flight to Cape Town.
