I really enjoyed my stay at Desert Palace. There is so much to do there. The staff are really friendly and the rooms are well equipped and comfortable. The only issue I had was that I was given a packed lunch containing meat when I asked for a veggie meal. But apart from that, everything was perfect!

Great little place, self service so you’ll need your own cutlery and so on. Only problem is that the vehicles driving by sounds like they are falling apart. For light sleepers it’s not a good location. Maybe if book g one of the back rooms it might be quieter. I would use this service again if traveling through Upington again.

The room layout is beautiful and the front desk welcomes you warmly. The service staff took the initiative to deliver the luggage to the room. The hotel is located next to the Orange River and has beautiful views from the window. It is the first choice in Upington. Thanks Protea Hotel by Marriott for a great trip.

Excellent hotel. It is 7 km from Apington. Closed cozy area where the antilops run, part of the territory has been turned into a jungle. Rooms are cozy, with water no problems, parking on the territory. В общем, очень советую.
