"Very good hotel. The owner enthusiastically introduced his family's 120-year-old hotel and let me choose a room when I checked in. In the end, I chose the sun room. I really like the scenery from the hotel. The rooftop is also very beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable, I regretted not staying a few more nights."

GGuest UserThis was by far one of the best hotel that we have ever stayed at. The room was stylish and beautifully designed which was complimented by some scents to keep the room smelling great. We were welcomed with great hospitality and the front desk spoke English which made the check in process smooth. The hotel is situated on a hill so watching the sunset with a panoramic view on their rooftop was a great way to end the night. In the morning, we woke up to an exceptional Turkish breakfast prepared in house. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for an affordable option in the cappadocia area.

İşletme sahibi Turgut Bey müşterilerle bizzat ilgileniyor. Kapadokya yöresinde görmeniz gereken yerler hakkında bilgi veriyor, böylelikle bölge hakkında bizim gibi bir fikriniz olmasa da bilinçli bir şekilde geziyorsunuz. 2 gün dolu dolu güzel bir tatil yapıp evimize döndük. Özellikle Turgut Bey'e çok teşekkür ediyorum. Şansı ve müşterisi bol olsun.

KKit MeiThe interior decoration is very beautiful. At night, you can see the endless starry sky and the lights of thousands of homes, and overlook the entire city. Because the hotel is within the pick-up and drop-off range for hot air balloon activities and is very close to the take-off point, we can get up at 6:30AM, which is very convenient.

DDiyoThis is really the best hotel in Cappadocia! The hotel is even more beautiful than shown on the pictures and (all!) employees are friendly and goodwill. Further, we loved the concept as every detail of the hotel is well thought off and the standard of hygiene is a 10/10. The breakfast very varied and delicious as all served was organic (self made and harvested) and all our wishes were always fulfilled with a smile on the face! We would like to thank the whole AJWA team
(especially Nur Hanim, Musa and Onur bey, Orhan and Mehmet Chef) an unforgettable time and will definitely come again!

Location; Perfect! - 5Min. away from the old town and ”Balıkıgöl”.
Personnel; not to overtake! - The staff is overtaking to friendliness and customer friendliness. The diving relationship is built immediately.
Do not look at guides or similar about .... The staff and the management are best informed and are happy to give tips and tour proposals.

The most valuable place to take pictures and check in is the swimming pool. The constant temperature is 27 degrees. Don’t worry! The waiters are very nice! A taxi from Goreme costs 320 lira

GGuest UserMy only complaint was that the concierge service at the reception hasn’t quite settled yet. It’s a new hotel, its facilities, rooms, etc. are in good condition. But we couldn’t get any help from the reception for renting a car, or a restaurant recommendation for dinner. They even had a hard time transferring the phone to room service… even if it wasn’t a problem, it was an amateurish, unpleasant moment. I think the staff had just arrived from out of town and there wasn’t a concierge infrastructure yet.
I liked the location of the hotel. If you’re going for the “Cappadocia experience”, Ortahisar is a bit far from the other attractions in the city. And transportation is only possible with the village shuttles that don’t know when they’ll pass, or with your own vehicle. But as the name suggests, it’s actually a logical choice as it’s in the middle of everything and away from the chaos.

I did like the location of the hotel. If you're coming for the “Cappadocia experience,” Ortahisar is a bit away from the city's main attractions. The only way to get around is either by car or with local shuttle buses that don't really run on a clear schedule. But then again, as the name suggests, it's actually in the middle of everything—and staying away from the crowds can be a plus. So overall, it's a reasonable choice.

DDzulCosy and affordable hotel with wonderful hosts, overall decent breakfast (the bread is amazing), and they have turkish coffee here . Some really nice views from the balcony and you can hike up the hill just outside the hotel for a sunrise. On the downside location is a bit remote so you'd have to taxi in and out, a taxi to Goreme centre will cost about 10 Euros one way. Also the room isn't soundproof so hopefully your neigbors aren't noisy but you get some wonderful birds chirping in the morning.
Ilhan the manager and Nergis the owner helped us plan our trip even before we arrived, they can help you plan and organize private tours if you want i.e. hot air baloon, underground city, airport transfer or any time you need to book a cab. All the other staff were really down to earth and nice people. We had a wonderful time.

IIbrahimThe hotel ***meat was clean. Our room was large enough and used. The workers were laughing. Orelin's location was in Uruguay's centre and the transportation was easy. However, the hotel's aesthetic image was bad for the hotels around it. The breakfast was weak, the food was not hot, and the hotel was enough according to its price.

AAnonymous UserLocation is a bit far from Goreme town, around 15 mins away. Taxi drivers will charge an exorbitant price just to go here from Goreme bus station. I was out at Goreme town at night and wanted to book a cab but the drivers didn’t want to send us there due to the road conditions. I stayed here for 2 nights and decided to move out to one of the hotel in Goreme town on the 3rd night because of the location. Otherwise, breakfast was awesome prepared by the very hospitable lady, Necla. She treated us very well like a mom. Don’t expect any marts nearby as this area is dead. Consider staying in Goreme town to watch the balloons from your hotels terrace. There are many nice and cheaper hotels in Goreme town. Honestly, I wouldn’t return here again because of the location.
