Los Calafates is a gem of a hotel, with cozy stylishness and a warm ambiance and feel. All the staff are incredibly helpful, and Hernan (the owner) is keen to make the stay as welcoming as possible. The rooms are well heated, with very comfortable linens (a relief after hiking in Patagonia and staying in hospedajes). Breakfast and complimentary afternoon tea/coffee are generous. And, the location is quiet while still centrally located, with an easy walk to nice restaurants and the port. Strongly recommend staying at Los Calafates!

We loved our stay in Los Calafates! Our room was super cozy, very clean and comfortable,always warm,with great shower. B&B is a family style, and we felt very welcome in a very warm atmosphere. The breakfast was always fresh, plenty to eat and perfect to start the day. The location is 3 min walk downhill to the main street.

We arrived at the hotel on November 7th with a 3-night reservation made in April and when we arrived they told us that they did not have our reservation despite showing them the copy of the reservation made by the hotel. Excuses and apologies followed, but that did not solve our problem. Conclusion: some scumbags.

Super friendly, always attentive and making sure our stay was the best, Hernan and Ada are super hosts. If you have questions about what to do, they always have a tip to help you plan your day trip. The place is very clean, safe and cozy. I definitely recommend them 👌🏻

El Calafate is a paradise, worth visiting. I recommend visiting it from October to March/April because of the temperatures, so you can get to know it and enjoy it even if you are not a fan of the cold. It is one of the many incredible places in Argentina.

Very clean, small, cozy hostel, away from the noise of the main street. Breakfast had hot drinks, orange juice (from a box because there is almost no fruit), egg (however you order it), croissants, toast, butter, jam. Very good service. Very friendly.
