Villa Vågå is a great hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, an amazing breakfast and the restaurant with delicious evening meals. Among the numerous Norwegian hotels we stayed at, some five stars, the Villa Vågå’s breakfast and especially the bread, was the best we had anywhere.

What a hidden treasure this place is. We weren't sure what to expect as travellers from Australia but were pleasantly surprised. The village itself is small and doesn't seem ready for tourists, but the hotel was gorgeous. The staff were friendly, the rooms adequate - good beds, good shower - always a winner for us. The bathroom is small but it's enough. The restaurant is excellent. The food was the best we'd had in a long trip through Norway and Sweden - highly recommend it. And the surrounding area is just beautiful.

This hotel is old and dated. But, there aren’t too many options around. Service is friendly and the restaurant helped prepare a vegan dish for me since they didn’t have any options on the menu. But, this Place needs restaurantion badly so unfortunately it is still a 2 star review.

Well located to explore Jotunheimen and Dovre. Nice modern rooms and a nice pool. Friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast. Special shout out to the ladies at reception who are super warm, welcoming and helpful. Also to the chef - the evening meal was absolutely delicious, and one of the best we’ve had in Norway (we’ve been living in Oslo for 1.5 years and are foodies!).

You find Vågå Hotel in a cross road, with Circle K as close neighbor. From outside it looks like a tired hotel, but it’s inside is fully refurbished, extremely small bathroom, no ventilation in bathroom or room. Window have to be open, and then you are kept awake due to the traffic outside. Nice restaurant, with two dishes, one meat one fish. Excellent food, but waiter’s had no clue about all the different beers or wine they have that can go with the two dishes 😉. Breakfast was OK, but no warm food. SPA is out of use The hotel is way overpriced.

Situé dans un village charmant de Norvège et peu connu des guides, l'hôtel est une vraie belle surprise au centre de la Norvège, desservie par la gare de bus et sur la route vers otta. Après une réservation à la dernière minute et une arrivée vers Minuit, nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux et professionnel. Le personnel est discret mais attentif et prevenant. La salle de bain impeccable, la chambre spacieuse et propre, confortable. Une piscine très bien entretenue, une salle de fitness, une terasse ensoleillée. La décoration est soignée depuis les travaux de rénovation. ( Les commentaires avant 2018 ne peuvent tenir compte des travaux ). Le petit déjeuner est copieux correspondant aux standards des 4 étoiles. Le prix ( un peu élevé) correspond néanmoins au prix en vigueur dans la région. Une étape très agréable et inattendue dans un petit village typique lequel mérite le détour, à voir absolument entre lom et otta sur la route des parcs nationaux.

В живописном поселке Vågå, это единственный отель, за счет чего цены сосвем не соответствют качеству. Некоторые месные говорят что за последние 16 лет там ничего не поменялось. Интерьер напоминает далекие 80х. Мебель из того же века. Ванные комнаты отделаны зеленой плиткой и тд. Тем не менее отностиельно хороший стандарт и чисто. Есть интернет. Принудительной вентиляции в номерах нет. Есть электро радиатор и окно с сеткой. Завтрак - беден как нигде. Выбора мало: один вид хлеба, ветчина, сыр. Из овощей только пара нарезных помидора. Яичница досталась холодной, как впрочем и бекон, и это при то что завтрак был не поздним. В общем повар особо стараться не хотел. В Отеле есть бассейн, но там быть не приходилось. Имеется парковка перед отелем. Рядом продуктовый магазин, где можно купить все самое необходимое от принадлежностей гигиены до еды. Всю эту унылую картину украшает лишь улыбчивая девушка на ресепшн, которая старается угодить гостям. Мой совет - проезжайте мимо.

POSITIV: Lage: mitten im Ort; gegenüber von Kiwi-Supermarkt und in Fußnähe von Stabkirche und Extra-Supermarkt. Parken: gratis direkt am Hotel Ausstattung: das Hotel hat den Eigentümer gewechselt und wurde offenbar neu ausgestattet. Alles wirkte neuwertig. Die Einrichtung ist dezent modern mit einigen originellen Details. Rezeption/Management: es gab ein Problem mit der geleisteten Vorauszahlungen durch den Besitzerwechsel. Nach Anruf des neuen Chefs wurde dies kundenfreundlich und serviceorientiert gelöst. Das Personal war im gesamten Haus ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man ist hier erkennbar bemüht, eine tolle Leistung zu bieten. Frühstück: kleines, aber dennoch sehr vielfältiges Frühstück in ausgezeichneter Qualität und Präsentation. Die Räumlichkeit war zudem sehr angenehm. Sauberkeit: keinerlei Klagen. Alles top! NEUTRAL: Ausblick: wir hatten ein Zimmer mit direktem Blick auf die Straße. Zunächst bedeutete dies auch deutlich hörbaren Verkehr. Das Zimmer war nicht schallisoliert. Je später der Abend desto weniger war jedoch los, so dass es kein wirklicher Minuspunkt war. Frühstückszeit: samstags erst ab 8 Uhr (das war uns fast etwas zu spät) Negativ: Zimmer: sehr klein. Keine Gepäckablage, kein Schreibtisch. Ein Tisch in Baumstumpfform ist fest montiert und lässt keinen Spielraum durch Wegschieben zu. Bad: superklein. Kaffee: Kapselmaschine; leider nicht umweltfreundlich. Barrierefreiheit: die meisten Zimmer sind nur über mehrere Treppen zugänglich. Fazit: wir waren sehr positiv überrascht von dem Hotel. Auch wenn das Zimmer klein war, fühlten wir uns sehr wohl.
