Our eighth trip to the Savoyarde didn’t disappoint! We love the location - close to the nursery school meeting point, the main lifts and the heart of the village. We love the traditional and delicious restaurant with excellent and friendly service, the great bar with live music twice a week; and the jacuzzi / hammam / sauna for relaxing after skiing (great massages too!). Rooms are simple but comfortable - not much sound proofing is the only frustration if you are unlucky with your neighbours. And for Val D’Isere this is great value. Highly recommended.

During our stay, I was not pleased with the extremely disrespectful and rude behavior of the night reception staff. The hotel entrance door was opened with a password, but we came from outside for dinner and my child was sleeping on my shoulder and I had no choice but to ring the bell. The male receptionist with glasses who opened the door practically scolded us and made us wait by giving me my room key late. This staff does not suit the hotel. Another thing I did not like about the hotel was that there was no one to help with our luggage. Also, the room keys were out of date. There was no entrance card system. There was no minibar in the room. The location of the hotel is very central. The breakfast was perfect in terms of variety and quality. The spa and ski room were very comfortable and useful. The price performance is very high.

Food very good; front desk very friendly and very efficient; great bar, great location, good spa facilities; but very small single room and very noisy at night particularly if north facing; and beds are far too soft and very old mattress.

Its a nice hotel but we had a roof leak which soaked our clothes and it wasn’t dealt with in the best way.
