Wow! Absolutely loved this place. The staff were amazing. So polite, friendly, couldn't fault any of them. The hotel is clean and looks lovely. The boot room is clean and easy to use. The food is just fantastic. Would come back with no hesitation.

The staff are amazing, very friendly helpful and polite. Nothing was too much and all very professional. We had room 305 which was spacious and had a balcony. Room was clean, beds and pillows comfortable. Fridge and tea/coffee facilities in room. Shower was excellent. Spa area was pleasant and functional, pool suitable for a small dip. Sauna and steam room hot. Robes and slippers in rooms and spa towels provided in spa area. Boot room has heated racks for drying boots. Plenty of space for skis and kit. Hotel is a few minutes walk to the lifts. Bus service is excellent and bus stops located near to hotel. The food was superb and very good quality wine with a choice of 2/3 each of red/rose/white all included in the price. Option of purchasing other bottles at a supplement. Ski area is just ace but I’m reviewing Inghams and the hotel so will keep it to that. The one and only negative point was the transfer. The mayor of Val d’isere has put some sort of embargo on transfer coaches entering the resort beyond the bus depot in La Daile. In defence of Inghams this is a new obstacle and one that they are trying to work around. Unfortunately though, until this is resolved, our coach had to deposit us and our bags into the car park. There we waited in the dark and the snow for the free ski bus to collect us. Staff very apologetic but not ideal. Then we had to cram onto the free bus with skis/hold bags etc and jostle for position with skiers and locals utilising the bus. The bus then stopped about 100m short of hotel where weary passengers complete with bags/prams/children etc had to drag items up the road. This process was then repeated in reverse on the transfer home. Albeit the bus stopped close to the hotel for the return leg. Two ski buses were utilised and a small van for baggage. Again the ski busses were occupied by the public so delays in waiting for the second bus had a knock on effect on the transfer coach departing the station. We did express our concerns to Inghams. They were very understanding and sympathetic and hopefully will have something in place for future guests. However I only feel its fair to inform guests of this hiccup so they can seek clarity on the situation prior to booking. Overall a great holiday. Only tainted by the giant faff of using public ski busses to get passengers and cases to the hotel.

We have just returned from a fantastic week at the Hotel and Spa Le Savoie in Val D’Isere France. We cannot praise Inghams and their lovely friendly professional staff highly enough. Everybody was friendly, interested and a pleasure to deal with. The chefs are amazing; we enjoyed every dinner the quality and variety is 2nd to none. Huge applause to the kitchen staff! The hotel itself is lovely and in a brilliant location right in the centre with a ski bus stop outside. Ski hire shop is adjacent. This is a great place for a ski/boarding holiday for everyone, couples, families, groups and we would recommend to anyone! Well done Inghams!

Entire experience outshone expectation! Staff outstanding. Charming - friendly & genuinely interested in everyone without being obsequious. Seldom if ever have we found every single member of staff so delightful and as if we'd known them as friends before. We were shown to our lovely room - with a cracking bathroom including bath and shower. We were then invited to make our choice of both menu and time for dinner, before collecting our skis from the ski hire shop next door. When we sat down to our meal we were blown away by how good it all was. Every course - FIVE of them if we wanted it - was outstanding and we should know as food is our business! We couldn't believe they could do better following night. They did! Breakfast was delicious every morning and the biscuits and cake waiting for tea after a long day of blissful/hard skiing was absolutely the icing on the above! We didn't go to Val for the food but it became a massive factor in our memory of the entire week.

We have been here a couple of days and purposely spent more to not stay at le ducks savioe because of how noisy the deliveries are and how you can hear everything as people arrive from nights out or people leaving with suit cases. The beds also are really hard. So for the two nights we have been there I haven’t actually slept fully as always woken up at 12pm until 2:30/3 and then again at 4am when deliveries arrive and then at 5:30 for the first guest who are leaving. Avoid rooms ending in a 1 or ** as they are at the back and unless you sleep like a hibernating bear you will be woken up. It’s a real shame as the hotel, food, staff are wonderful. And they did tried to resolve the room issue by moving us from a 1 room to a ** room but it hasn’t actually fixed the problem. If you could pick this hotel up and pop it on a different road perhaps it would have been a perfect place to stay.

Absolutely loved staying in this chalet hotel for a week with my family. The breakfast is extensive and sets you up well for a day on the mountain. Afternoon tea has selection of sweet and savoury which was a lovely surprise! Spoilt for choice from the dinner menu with plenty variety of dishes offered. Rooms very comfortable - great showers. The spa area was greatly appreciated after a busy day - pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Boot room has heated boot rack and sufficient storage and is very easily accessible from outside. What topped it all off was the staff. They couldn’t have been any more helpful and always so friendly and happy to answer any questions or just have a chat. Will hopefully be lucky enough to return again one day.

We decided to have a treat this year skiing and stay in a hotel. We picked La Savoie because of the reviews, Unfortunately a ski accident on day 2 stopped me skiing. The staff were just unbelievable in their care. support and tried so hard to make my holiday better. They went above and beyond. Skiing is my passion so I was clearly upset and they all made it so much easier. I can't thank them enough. The hotel is gorgeous, the people and food were wonderful. It's a big thumbs up from this family.
