Our room was not as in the pictures on Booking. We had choosen the deluxe king room because of the table with two chairs. There was no table and no chairs, only an uncomfortable couch we never sat on. The receptionist didn't care when we complained, she also doesn't speak a word of English. Except for these things, everything about Real Colonial was okay. The bed is good, cleaning is every day. And Valladolid is a great city. We did a lot of sight seeing. I recommend Convento de San Bernardino de Siena and hacienda Oxman.

The tacky lobby put me off, but the room was wonderful: spacious, windows, solid wooden furniture, a spacious armoire, and thoughtful shelving underneath the sink for toiletries. The second floor has a patio overlooking the street. A/c worked fine. Receptionists Jose and Claudette were pleasant and helpful. Excellent location near the Plaza Principal, the tourist info center, the Bazaar, a food court. One possible drawback: The restaurant next door plays loud techno music until 12 midnight. The receptionist asked them to lower the volume, which they did that night. I asked again the next night.

We stayed at Hotel Real Colonial for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. Conveniently located a 5-min walk from the main square, the building has a very lovely vibe, with its yellow walls and little roof top terrace decorated with plants and colourful vases. Our room was spacious, with a very wide king size bed, TV and a very neat bathroom with powerful shower. There is a wide car park just next to the hotel which is handy if you are travelling by car. Our room was facing the street, which was a bit loud in the morning, and generally the curtains do not do enough to shield from the powerful Mexican morning light, but that’s an easy fix with earplugs and eye mask. WI-FI is available, enough to browse and search for things on the Internet, although not super strong and not very stable.

Super decent hotel. Total focus on a value for money option, with nice rooms, cool bathrooms. Location wise is also very good, walking distance from everywhere in city center. Everything works, and for a one night stay is super good option.

We stayed there one night in the end of January 2023. the location is great. there is free private parking place. the room was spacious and the bed really big. Very good Wi-Fi . good value for money. Paid 730 pesos (including all taxes). We booked last minute though. You maybe dislike that you have to climb some stairs to reach the rooms. no elevator. no English speaking staff. no soundproof rooms.

Hotel posizionato in una via laterale ma vicina al centro e alla fermata dei bus Ado. Camera molto bella con decori della cultura maya, grande, luminosa, con scrivania e armadio, letto comodo e bagno ampio. La nota dolente è il personale alla reception incapace nel consigliarti come raggiungerci determinati luoghi o darti informazioni su escursioni o altro .

Literie des années 1930, isolation comparable à une tente sur l'autoroute, à éviter absolument. L'emplacement est peut-être très bien mais pour se reposer seulement 6 heures dans la nuit je préfère être un peu à l'écart du centre. En bref c'est un lieu à vraiment éviter

Personale disponibile ( ma parla solo spagnolo!), ottima posizione, parcheggio gratuito, pulizia ok, camera carina e spaziosa. Abbiamo avuto qualche problema con il wc poco funzionante, bagno pieno di calcare.
