This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Valparaiso. Located in the best neighbourhood (in my opinion) in the city and well priced. Perfect walking distance to great restaurants, cafes and shops. The staff is excellent and exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were spacious with a perfect view of the harbour and very clean. They have a car to drive you to and from your restaurant (if available) if it's close by, which is helpful if you don't wish to climb some of the steep hills in the area. We had dinner in the restaurant on the first evening, on the outdoor patio. The food was delicious, as well as the local wine selection, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was included in the morning with a nice selection of simple a la carte items or eggs prepared as you like. Only note, the coffee could be improved. The pool was a bonus overlooking the harbour. Overall terrific!!

Wow!! We would recommend this fabulous hotel to anyone without hesitation. It’s simply superb. World class! Beautiful rooms, wonderful restaurant and bar, perfect location. The staff were really welcoming and efficient. We shall always stay here when in Valparaiso. Thank you!!

We had 3 nights here and loved Valparaiso. We felt safe at this hotel and the service was excellent. Our standard double room was absolutely fine - we were out all of the days sightseeing. We loved the lounge and restaurant terrace - we had dinner here all 3 nights and lunch one of the days. For two of the dinners they had live music (guitar and saxophone) - fabulous musicians and really added to our enjoyment of the evening. Fantastic view over the city and port from the restaurant terrace and we so enjoyed seeing the sunset with a Pisco Sour in hand, watching the birds swooping by. The pool area looked great (although we didn't use). The staff all very helpful - particularly at reception. Breakfast buffet excellent. Highly recommend.

This hotel is truly a gem! From the moment we arrived, the staff impressed us with their warmth, charm, and eagerness to assist with anything we needed. The location is stunning—perched in the heart of Cerro Alegre with breathtaking views of the harbor. The on-site restaurant is a standout, featuring a thoughtfully curated menu and a select wine list that perfectly complements each dish. Breakfast, which is included, offers a generous spread of both continental and hot options to start your day right. A truly delightful experience all around!

Lied to at checkin and were given a traditional ( small basic) room. ******* called to confirm VIP status and upgrade but the manager refused. He wanted an email from *******. Something they haf never been asked for before and that their system didnot allow.Receptionist confirmed there was availability. House opposite has razor wire. The housr nect door electric wire.! Much if the hotel is grubby. It is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. £235 per night. For the same price we would have had a suite with ocean views in Viṅa del Mar 10 mins away and been alot safer. We ordered a vegetarian takeaway breakfast for our last day as we had an early light. It contained ham!

Lovely comfy room with wonderful views. Very friendly staff who did their best to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast and dinner excellent. Helpful staff recommended another restaurant for our second night. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Beautiful hotel with lovely rooms and a fabulous view. The restaurant, Maralegre, had wonderful food and a stunning view on the terrace. Delicious for breakfast and for dinner. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant were terrific. They made arrangements for our transfer from the Santiago airport and also for a transfer to the Santiago airport, with a stop for a winery tour on the way. In addition, they set up a private guide to take us around Valparaiso. Felipe and his driver, Carlos, were terrific.

Ideally suited to explore Valparaiso, a very very hilly town! We had a small balcony from which we could see the ocean in the distance Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating Restaurant outdoors and inside was lovely Food excellent Maitrr’d very pleasant Cannot recommend highly enough great stay!
