Ocean and beach fairy tale 😍
First, the good stuff: the area is gorgeous. Special thanks to Eliezer and Senin. Very competent managers, they speak Russian well, they help with “unsolvable” issues, and in general I have very warm impressions from them. Delicious ice cream and cocktails, depending on the season they serve fish and seafood. February turned out to be off season. There was fish, but not super often. Grill zone - very good meat. And beef and pork and chicken. Pineapples and papaya. Of course the ocean!!!! The biggest plus. That's why we flew for 14 hours. We walked the entire shore - our part of the beach turned out to be the best in our opinion. Wide shore, sun loungers do not stack on top of each other. Quiet.
Now about the negative))) First we checked into a bungalow (southern part of the hotel). Dark, humid, bad air conditioning, poor cleaning. Considering that they left chocolates and money, not very good. The bathroom floors were not washed at all. One day they took away a towel and didn’t bring any... any... at all. Neither for arms, nor for legs. They asked us to move to the main building closer to the ocean. There the situation has completely changed. There were elephants on the bed, and boats were flying. 9!!! Towels for two. Although there were 4 in the bungalow (as it turned out, we were given a foot towel as the main towel in the bungalow). Clean, bright, good air conditioning and views of the pool and ocean.
Now the tips:
- if you are not given something, demand and ask. Most likely they will forget, you need to remind them.
- take a towel with you (at least a small one). Because we were given a towel for 2 days at the beach.
- You can take your own mug, but disposable glasses were thrown away in front of us.
- take plenty of sunscreen. They burned out in the first days.
- the most season is from June to November. December - March winds can be strong. Ideal month - October
- leave a tip. Locals will be happy with chocolates and primitive medicines (no-shpa, paracetamol, spazgan), but it’s not difficult for us
In general, except for the moment of relocation and problems with the towel, everything was excellent. 👍

Huge queues in the dining room, there are few staff or they can’t keep up, there aren’t enough napkins, the food is a C grade, but sometimes there is fish, which is a rarity for budget hotels, cubes were a rarity, there was entertainment, the beach is beautiful, like everywhere else in Varadero, the internet works, but always I need to reconnect, but I managed to go to alakart once, but the food was the same, tasteless, in the lobby bar the cocktails and alcohol are mediocre, but I hardly drink, I didn’t care, I tried it and ok, a room with an iron, a hairdryer, a bathtub, TV, everything works.

Brisas del caribe it is a nice resort with the most beautiful beach and the most wonderful staff i seen in resorts in cuba. I want to say thank you to our maid Arelys who made our stay wonderful we felt we are royals . Our room was very nice clean tidy every day.We had supplies in the fridge every day with beer, juice and rom. Food was good lots of choices from pork ,chicken, lamb, fish, calamari, shrimps, pizza ,bread, butter eggs ,sausages every day for breakfast. The cooks at Brisas are very profesional the food is cooked properly and tasty not like other resort i been with no test or uncooked. They cook with love . Thanks to all cookes and servers at Brisas. Special thanks to Kati and Yanet who take care of us every day at dinner time. At Brisas we feel like family. Thanks to Michael from coustumer service who was always there for us with any guestion we had. He is very profesional . We will be back for sure we had the best vacation !

We are not even back home 24 hours (group of 4) and wish we were back there. For those looking for a laid back relaxing vacation this is the spot. Yes, it is older and shows its age but a well maintained resort. The rooms, lobby and grounds are clean and all staff super friendly and helpful. The highlight of this resort would be its location with a fantastic stretch of beach. We have not travelled this late in the season before and there were maybe 100 guests at best the week we went. This did not impact our service and expectations. There were no issues with food other then being a bit repetitive but this is Cuba. Eggs every morning plus lots of other choices. Lunch and dinner had all you needed with meats, vegetables, soups, salad bar, etc. The only shortage was wine at the buffet but we have run into this several times in the last few years at other resorts as well. The bars had a nice assortment to make a wide variety of drinks. We had the VIP upgrade with Hola Sun and it was worth it for us. The highlight was the private dining room at the buffet. Beautifully appointed and the personal service was amazing. Wine was always available for this upgrade. Evening entertainment is also definitely worth mentioning. Something different every night including a aquatic show, magic show and a fantastic rock band that also plays at the Beatles bar in Varadero. Last but not least, the staff is what made our experience a week to remember. We would definitely go back here without hesitation.

I had a wonderful two weeks at Brisas. I stayed in a third. Floor room with Yareny as the maid. The room was clean and fresh every day. Lots of hot water and everything I needed. The beach is superb! We had our pick of chairs and had lunch every day at the beach bar which was ham and cheese buns, French fries, or pizza or spaghetti. Delicious. In the hotel the staff made us Spanish coffees every day after coming from the beach. The buffet was also very good. Special thanks to the omelette maker. We often ate dinner a la carte with champagne and a variety of tasty meals. I really liked the soup and the fish but everything was good. After dinner was entertainment. I liked the aquatic show and the magic show best. Most of all the staff is very friendly and helpful always. I have been going to this resort almost every year for 19 years and it’s a lot like coming home to a wonderful family.

Another fantastic time at Brisas del Caribe. This was our 8th time at "our home away from home", and it was truly a wonderful time once again! We cannot say enough about how incredible the staff is at this resort! From the very first time we stepped foot in this resort to now, everyone treats you like family, and are so dedicated to making sure your stay is everything you had hoped for. Maikel, Meidys and Cenin always make sure you are enjoying yourself and are there whenever you may need them! Our wonderful maid and friend Yareny made us the most beautiful towel art each day and the room was always sparkling clean with plenty of towels ( the softest I have had at this resort so far) and toilet paper. Aida gave me my annual haircut and as always, much better than I can get at home! Amelia gives the best massages! Yoennys is doing a fantastic job supervising the restaurants, and is always greeting each and every guest. Augustin and Juan Miguel do a great job at the beach bar, as do Miladys and Elin (sp) at the pool bar. Miguel, Boris, Jose, Carlos and all the rest at the coffee bar and lobby bar always serve you up with a smile and a hug. Giser, Jaqueline and Maybel have been a constant throughout the years and such a joy to be around. Robert, BonBon and Margarita (kid's club) work very hard to make sure you are always entertained! I know that I may have missed a few people, everyone deserves a mention as each and everyone of the staff go above and beyond to make everyone happy! The resort is an older one, and shows it's age in some areas, but is always very clean and welcoming. Washrooms are cleaned constantly, The beds are comfortable, fluffy pillows, plenty of water always in your room. Front desk staff are always willing to help. There is WiFi all over the resort. And of course....the best beach area by far in Varadero! Please consider Brisas for your next stay if you are looking for a laid back, friendly, and relaxing vacation! You will not be disappointed.

Just returned from another wonderful vacation at Brisas del Caribe. So happy we were able to return once again. Sunwing wasn't available to us this year but managed to book through ACV. Much longer travel days but worth every minute to get back to our favorite resort and favorite people. Beach was a beautiful as ever. Thanks Jorje for always making sure we had chairs in our favorite spot. The bar on the beach is great. Agustin and Juan Miguel do a great job down there. The three other bars were top notch also. Thankyou to all the guys and gals that made it possible for us to have our morning coffee and our " after the beach" Spanish Coffee. Yoennys is fantastic overseeing the buffet and ala carte restaurant. Ate suppers. Great food and wonderful staff. Loved having lunch down at La Caleta. Great variety and service and loved spending time with girls down there. Our room was kept spotless by Yareny. Such a wonderful lady! As always Aida did fantastic job on haircuts/ braiding for our group. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful at all times. We enjoyed the entertainment. Doing a great job BonBon. Favorites were Aquatic Show and Magic Show. ( that guy has our group stumped!) Thankyou to Meidys and Maikel for ensuring we had everything we needed. In closing just want to say that Brisis is a wonderful resort. All of the staff are warm and welcoming.Our first trip to Brisas was 19 years ago and over the years the staff have become like family to us. Simply the best. So if you are looking for a vacation where you are surrounded by the best beach, great food and friendliest staff book Brisas del Caribe.

Had an awesome time with all the bartenders. If you get a chance to go by you gotta meet Felix and Miguel and they’ll help you with whatever you need! They will always do their best to provide the best service and the best drink for you whether it’s with alcohol or without.
