The castle is magnificent as is the park. and the lords are extremely kind, available and attentive. We had a wonderful stay on an exceptional occasion. And we thank our hosts again through this comment.

A first for us to choose accommodation in a castle. And we must admit that it has a certain charm to find yourself in a family castle. It is not a star corner in terms of service, but the experience has the merit of being lived. We find ourselves immersed in the past, among furniture, trinkets, books (magnificent library!) as well as a magnificent chapel. It is unthinkable today to find ourselves in a place where we do not lock the doors, but here, it is natural and we experienced it without any worry. The bedding is very comfortable, the beds made the old-fashioned way, with sheets, blankets and bedspreads, and real old-fashioned pillows. We really enjoyed the park and the swimming pool. The house is magnificent. The negative points: since the castle only offers table d'hôtes once a week, it is quite difficult to find a restaurant near the castle. During the week, all restaurants are closed in the evening and you have to travel many kms to be able to eat. Perhaps the owners of the castle would benefit from offering table d'hôtes from Monday to Thursday evening. But it is a very nice experience that we will certainly repeat, because it is truly a pleasant and atypical moment that we experienced.
