Golden Lotus

Simply Wow! My family and I stayed at this gorgeous place for over a week and enjoyed our stay. The owner, Mr. Abhinav Singh, personally takes care of every need of the tourists and goes the extra mile to make sure that the tourists are comfortable and are having a pleasant experience. The property is very immaculate, and all the famous places in Varanasi are nearby. Mr. Abhinav Singh helped us organize our amazing trip to Varanasi, and also our awesome journey to Ayodhya Dham and Vidhyavasini Dham Shaktipeeth. The staff and drivers are always willing to help with a pleasant smile on their faces, they all are very kind, cooperative, respectful and warm people. I recommend this Hotel Golden Lotus Varanasi to everyone. I am grateful to Mr. Singh, all the drivers and the staff. Many blessings to all.

We had some misunderstanding at first, we were there in a extremely busy time, but at the end we had a good stay in Varanasi. We booked a family room with 2 beds and 2 bathrooms and balconies, kitchen and living room, it was perfect, quite clean, bright and big enough. Food was very good even if there is a little bit of extra wait. Staff helped us with booking tours and taxis and also giving advice on the city. We met the owner with was very apprehensive and kind. We might come back😊

We had an amazing experience at Golden Lotus Hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. The location is perfect in middle of city yet way from traffic. travel time to the Ganga River and Kashi Vishwanath Temple was 15 minutes by tuk tuk which was arranged by property. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the basic amenities. I especially enjoyed the food at their restaurant—it was fresh and delicious. The evening boat tour organized by the hotel was magical and gave a beautiful view of the Ganga Aarti. I also appreciated the convenience of a nearby store, which made things easy. Overall, this was a perfect stay, and I would love to visit again! Highly recommend Golden Lotus to anyone visiting Varanasi.

This is probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. My friends booked it as a birthday treat and we stayed in the Royal family suite. The advertisement stated the suite had cooking and clothes washing facilities. These consisted of a dirty microwave, dishes with no cutlery and as for clothes washing I presume they meant a sink and internal balcony, overlooking brickwalls which were the only views we had. Should have realised how bad the service and attitude was going to be when our breakfast for 4,took over 2 hours to arrive and then consisted of 4 slices of toast and 2 drinks. We stayed for 2 nights and despite ordering breakfasts the night before not once did we receive a complete order. When we were leaving the final insult came when we were told they only wanted indian guests. They made this very obvious to us throughout our stay. The attitude of the staff was completely unfriendly and unhelpful and very discriminative.

The hotel staff were hepful and welcoming. Service was prompt and efficient, rooms spacious and well appointed. Very comfortable. For Westerners be aware you may have to request top sheets and blanket if you want them. The food menu is veg only and it is a long walk to find alternatives. The pancakes and chai were delicious. My advice to them would be improve menu choice to include meals with gravy and put pancakes on menu every day. Otherwise they were great.

It was a right decision with our hotel hopping in Baranasi, we tried 2 different hotels before arriving at Golden Lotus. The staff is well behaved, rooms are clean and have ample room size. They assist you with every thing you may require right from getting the shopping for young infant, some meds, arranging DARSHAN at reverted temples, transport. I am grateful for their wonderful hospitality.
