The hostel is probably one of the only hostels we stayed in in India that actually felt pretty much like an actual hostel. It was lacking a little in social vibes probably because a lot of people other than backpackers, such as families, were staying there, probably because the city was particularly busy. But they did decent food (coffee could be better but there are good coffee places nearby) for breakfast, had some nice chill-out areas and the ping pong was great. The room was decent, nothing special, but the shower stayed warm for a good amount of time and the bed was comfortable. Staff were very nice and friendly. The hostel could be a little loud at times. Some evenings music was blasting until pretty late or started up again early in the morning. Plus, our room was right next to the staff room where they kept their supplies and they would often be slamming doors and talking very loudly next to it from around 7am. So as a result we didn't get much great sleep.
