"We had a great experience staying in the property. The rooms were clean, food was great a bit expensive but very delicious, service was good, location was great. Overall a 10 on 10 experience"
"Women may be worried because the surrounding area is dark and less crowded. I think the room is clean as an inn in India. The bath towel was dull and torn, and the sheets and covers were discolored and stained, but it was okay because it was clean and not smelly. There are no pajamas or slippers, but everything else was available. The staff are all very kind, and there are many welcome drinks, sweets, fruits, etc. Above all, you can sleep quietly. Warm water comes out firmly. This is not natural in India, so I was grateful to get rid of my tiredness. Breakfast was quite simple, so I ate at a shop that was calling about 2 houses next door."
"This is a guest house in the city of Varanasi. About a 5-minute walk away is Kumiko's House, a legendary place for Japanese backpackers (although it's a legend, it still exists).
There are many convenient cafes, shops and kiosks selling lassi and snacks nearby. The inside of the hotel is clean, and it's pretty quiet. This is a good thing because the city roads are narrow and there are scooters running around, so it's normal to be noisy. The bed was also soft which helped."
"The hotel was great for its hospitality and the facilities. The breakfast was also nice with variety of Indian foods. I will definitely come back here next time I come to Varanasi,"
"The hotel is stylish but it is very far from everything. The hotel has a taxi but the prices are more than double. If not for the hotel, taxi drivers will try and extract the maximum from you. Based on location I would not recommend unless you have a car of your own."
"great hotel))) I had to cancel my stay at another hotel and found this hotel by chance and did not regret it at all.
location in a quiet area, I did not go anywhere on foot, but I saw a fruit market around the corner in the evening.
the hotel has very tasty food in the restaurant, but keep in mind that there is no beer or wine.
all the hotel staff were very welcoming, friendly and determined to organize my good stay))) I am very grateful to everyone for advice, help with transportation on a holiday, maximum attention to my requests.
The suite is wonderful, beautiful, interesting design, very comfortable bed, good bed linen and towels,
constant Internet.
no obvious disadvantages in the hotel
my highest recommendation"
"The behaviour of the staffs are very good . They are very much supportive. And the best thing is that the location of the hotel is fabulous. Food quality of their restaurant is very delicious. So, I suggest everyone to visit once in this hotel."
"The hotel is cost-effective and the service is good, from the doorman to the rooms and restaurant. You can book cars and boats at the hotel, but it is more expensive than usual. The hotel is less than 4 kilometers from the river altar of the night festival, which requires a taxi. It is convenient to take a taxi. But Varanasi's road is really bad, and you must be mentally prepared."

Very Good
NNandiniSimply Wow!
My family and I stayed at this gorgeous place for over a week and enjoyed our stay. The owner, Mr. Abhinav Singh, personally takes care of every need of the tourists and goes the extra mile to make sure that the tourists are comfortable and are having a pleasant experience. The property is very immaculate, and all the famous places in Varanasi are nearby.
Mr. Abhinav Singh helped us organize our amazing trip to Varanasi, and also our awesome journey to Ayodhya Dham and Vidhyavasini Dham Shaktipeeth. The staff and drivers are always willing to help with a pleasant smile on their faces, they all are very kind, cooperative, respectful and warm people.
I recommend this Hotel Golden Lotus Varanasi to everyone. I am grateful to Mr. Singh, all the drivers and the staff. Many blessings to all.
BBartZelfNice place to stay in the bustling city of Varanasi, hotel is clean and all necessary amenities provide an excellent place to take a rest from the city that is pretty crazy. It is about four kilometers from the river Ganges. Breakfast is fine but not very extended, meals for dinner were good price wise.
The only issue we had was the way too loud noise of the air ventilation in the shower that took a lot of drama before it was turned off, a request that I had to repeat three out of four nights. Overall I would recommend this place though, it's professional and decent and an oasis compared to what you'll encounter once you get onto the streets.
GGuest UserThe hotel is at walkable distance to Temple. The rooms were neat and clean and spacious too. All the staff were very helpful. The only thing s that cabs are allowed upto certain distance only. But hotel staffs came and picked our luggage. All hotels near the temple will have this issue.
麒麒麟There was a local festival and the traffic around the hotel was blocked. I asked the hotel counter to help me call a taxi to the airport, but I had to wait at a very far intersection and the driver didn't understand English. The hotel owner and manager were very enthusiastic to talk to the driver. Confirmed to assist us in the three-way call and confirmed whether we got on the car smoothly. The room was clean and the bathroom was standard. The location was in a small alley very close to the Ganges, which required some searching.
LLaufraWalking distance to some Gatt of Varanasi, very friendly and helpful staff. We had no problems whatsoever and they took care of directing us to the guide for the city and the boat for the Ganga ride. Perfect!
IimsmoothassilkI didn't want to get sick in India so I booked a proper hotel. The amenities were good, but I don't know if it's worthy of the Hilton brand because they didn't prepare an extra bed even though I requested one, and they never delivered extra towels even though I asked for them.
PPabloMDwivedi Hotels Palace on Steps offers a mixed experience. The room was basic but stuffy and smelly, with unpleasant odors from the area below the windows. The hotel is slightly dated, yet the staff was friendly and helpful.
The location is fantastic, close to Dashashwamedh Ghat, where you can enjoy a vibrant evening ceremony. The view from the room overlooking the river is breathtaking. Highly recommend dining at Aadha-Aadha Café for clean, tasty, and affordable meals. The rooftop ambiance is lovely. Mona Lisa Café is another great nearby option. Overall, a good stay for its location and views, despite minor issues.
GGuest UserOverall good. Located on main road towards Kashi Vishwanath temple (around 1 km). Food was good, home type. Basic amenities, good enough. We received good services. All staff were kind, polite & very helpful especially Mr Ashish who guided us properly throughout our stay there.
There is a scope of improvement in maintaining cleanliness. However, overall it was okay as we had visited during busy days. Prices are bit high was due to the auspicious time.
