Amazing location...just a few walks away from the beach...the rooms are spacious and neat...The room service could've been improved...Rest everything was good... Trip.com was helpful with the support they offered instantly as I had an issue with check in. Rest everything was great.

The service is good. The room is clean. The staff is polite and helpful. The bathroom is in good condition, there is hot water, everything works. The doors to the balcony have a mosquito net. I took it with a good discount, the best option available at that time.

I went travelling around south india for a few months and found a lot off the hotels were either over priced or dirty. This hotel was the first place I stayed which was clean, cheap and amazing service. The manager was the most helpful we ever met. Was always there when you needed him and was always happy to help with all inquiries. The room was clean and simple. Mosquito nets had been fitted through out so didn't have as much worry. Definetely would stay here again and reccomend for anyone wanting to be by the beach and don't want to spend loads off money. This hotel is perfect for everyone!!

the hotel does not look the most inviting at the first glance, but the crew/owner makes it very special. simple spacious spartan rooms with balcony (our was) over a couple of floors that climb the hill. ayruvedic centre and a vegetarian restaurant on the first floor tucked away from the street traffic. yoga exercise room on the top floor. food! amazing to watch the cook preparing your simple and tasty food. even tea making was a ceremony. 100 metres to the beach (where religious rituals and fish trading takes place), but about 500m to the main clean sand beach. 200 metres to the ATM machine at Temple Junction.

We have stayed here for the third time, each time for a month. Great atmosphere and location! Every time we come, we meet travelers who also choose Akshay not for the first time. What I also like is that after 22.00 there is already silence, nothing disturbs sleep, the owner Shibu carefully monitors this and takes care of each guest.

A calm, quiet hotel. In season, it has a massage parlor, an inexpensive restaurant and a fruit center where you can eat porridge with fruit for breakfast inexpensively. Wi-Fi works all the time. The religious beach Papanasam is a 3-minute walk away, I do not recommend swimming there. A good tourist beach is 8-10 minutes to the east ***** the sea.
