Cocogiri Island Resort Maldives

Just returned from 11 night of paradise on this beautiful island Big shout out to sarah and her partner from the dive shack as I'm not a strong swimmer she stayed by my side while snorkeling with sharks and turtles was a amazing experience The water villa was beautiful and also all the staff were great especially the lovely tina were nothing is too much trouble we will definitely returning

This was our first AI holiday, we're self catering kind of people, and I have to say it surpassed all our expectations, from arriving at the airport to leaving, everything was just superb. We were upgraded to a spa pool villa for the first 2 nights, which we made use of, especially after a couple of post meal scoops in the bar, we then settled down in water villa 212 for the next 8 nights. The room itself was huge, as was the bed, and very well appointed, the views from the villa were stunning, and having your very own aquarium at the bottom of the steps was incredible. The restaurant and bar were both welcoming and the attention from the staff was top notch, the food was just superb, great variety and utterly delicious, the drinks in the bar were absolutely fine, no complaints at all. The whole operation was first class and in Tina you had a manager who ran it like a conductor runs an orchestra. Overall it was an incredible experience for both of us, and we would recommend without hesitation.

This is our 2nd visit to Cocogiri and won't be the last. The first time we stayed for a week and came back for two weeks staying in an overwater villa again. For us the island is perfect, it's small and compact and offers plenty of relaxation/snorkelling/diving and eating with great service. We had a couple of minor issues on the island which Tina and the team went out of their way to fix. I could not fault their help! The rooms was excellent as always, the AC unit filters needed a clean to quiet them down but once this was done it was a lot more bearable. The room was kept spotless and stocked up by the cleaning guys. The view of the reef is just amazing. Food is so so good. The current chef does an amazing biryani, whenever it was on it made me very happy. The breakfast is always so good, I'm sure my blood sugar went through the roof on this trip. In terms of drinks, the cocktails are ok, my only gripe with the island is the beer. Carlsberg :( I travel 20 hours and have a beer made 15 minutes from where I live haha! Sarah and Gan in the dive shop were amazing as always along with captain Adam on the boat. Thy really looked after us on our diving trips, fishing trip and ride over to see the rays! I felt safe at all times whilst diving despite some really hard conditions. We saw so much when diving, sharks, rays, turtles, nudibranchs, and so much more. The highlight was having a curious eagle ray take a keen interest in me during a deco stop! I did a couple of night dives with Sarah and they were my favourite dives I've ever done. The reef is so different at night and the sounds/colours are so much more intense under torchlight. She made us turn our torches off during the deco stop and we were glowing in the bioluminescence!!! It was just so magical. The reef is a lot healthier than the last visit, so much more life when we snorkelled. A concerning amount of trigger fish are there now! We saw moray eels, turtles, tons of sharks, squid, pufferfish, and so much other stuff. We cannot wait to come back and as soon as the flights for next year are up we will rebook for sure!!!

Returned again this year for our 40th wedding Anniversary, and its what the title says! Tina and her staff are absolutely fantastic, nothing is too much trouble for anyone of them. We had the lovely special meal on the beach for our Anniversary and WOW what an experience, food beautiful, setting beautiful everything about it beautiful! We saw pods of Dolphins 3 times from our villa, the resident turtle came to say hello and goodbye lol The house reef is fantastic you see something different every time you go in. saw plenty of black tip reef sharks and 2 different Rays. We love the villa 220 to have the big Jacuzzi/swim pool is just lovely to have a dip in and watch the marine life while having a cooling soak. The water sports/dive team are also a credit to the island, nothing seems too much trouble for them, Gan and Sarah are such lovely genuine people. All food in the buffet is lovely, hoping to get some of the recipes off Tina. So thank you Tina and all the staff for a wonderful holiday We will be back

It is like my second home. All staff can't do enough for you. Tina is like sister I never had. We had wonderfultime together. My grand daughter enjoyed well. Water sports is great. Food is out of this world. Wonderful sunrise and sunset. Any one with additional needs is accommodated well. I have already paid for next year stay.. my countdown starts from today. Never bye to Cocogiri will see you 2026.

Wow, what an amazing experience, for us it was perfection. Cocogiri is by far the most incredible place. We stayed for 10 nights for our honeymoon and were welcomed from the moment we arrived. Tina is just such a friendly, kind, caring, respectful lady who's only aim from when you arrive until you leave is to ensure your experience is as perfect as possible. We will most certainly be back
