Large towels, minimal breakfast, Modern bathroom, Older furniture, No plugs in bedroom but 2 lamps can be unplugged. 1 plug in the bathroom. Out in the country so a car is a must have. No tissues and OK toilet paper). Good Wi-Fi. No drawers for clothes. OK for a one-night stay. The best thing in the hotel is the restaurant. The food at dinner was great.

With business in Venezia we had a chance to go to our favourite hotel in the Treviso region again. Took a suite on the last floor this time, it has a living room (which is where you enter the suite) with a walk-in bathroom built like a room in a room. It features sink, a spa shower, toilet, and a bidet. Adjacent to the living room is the spacious sleeping room - itself larger than most double rooms nowadays. Both rooms feature the typical furniture style and have a very pleasant A/C as well as windows overlooking the plot. The bed in the sleeping room is extremely comfortable, too. Breakfast is on the ground floor and offers mostly local typical varieties. No pretentions, at the same time lacking nothing, and always being refilled by the attentive and hospitable staff. The pool we remember so fondly is still the same - large, warm, and surrounded by deckchairs underneath sunshades, all of them spaced widely apart to offer privacy in a public space. The entire plot is well maintained and offers several opportunities to either just stroll around or have a seat and enjoy the scenery and setting. Da capo in August for us!

We stayed at this villa when with a travel group, so we did not select it ourselves. With that said, I probably would have given this place 4.5, but I decided to round up. I loved that this was an old Italian villa. We were in the building next to the check-in office, and it was hard to connect the internet. The management actually came and put a router in so that we could use our electronics. The rooms were nice and big, and there was a connecting door between my and my sister's rooms which was really nice. We extended our stay for two extra days. The venue is very relaxing with lots of old statues decorating the property. The hot water did not take long to get in the shower, and the water pressure was great. We had dinner in the restaurant on the last night, and it was delicious! I had the Irish beef, and the portion was huge! We enjoyed the house wine and walked to a small village about 15 minutes down the road. The hotel is about 40 minutes from the Marco Polo Airport in Venice. The manager of the hotel was extremely efficient and took care of all requests quickly.

Beautiful location, garden, swimming pool and great, comfortable ground floor apartments for a good price which included breakfast. We were helped a lot and given lots of good tips and advice by friendly Andrea who works at reception. Despite being very busy he took time to help us, give advice, call and book restaurants each evening and we enjoyed conversations with him. All the staff for breakfast and cleaners, bar,pool were very helpful and friendly. Thank you Andrea and staff for a wonderful 3 days and best of luck in the future! Best regards, Family van Tuijl

What a beautiful building! You feel as if you are on a movie set. Once the home of the Bahamian Embassy, the grounds are lovely, the pool is exquisite and statuary abounds all over the property. The hotel room itself is very nice. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom has a nice functioning stall shower, the towels are thick although there could have been more counter space. the AC functions properly too. The staff is efficient and friendly

We were only at the hotel for less than eight hours due to a very early flight. Unfortunately this hotel is an hour from the airport on rural country roads. The front desk lady/host greeted our group and assigned our rooms. Our room was not in the main building and even though it was very large, it was not very well equipped. The very gracious host did get us a luggage rack and my friend used a couch for her luggage. As I said, we were not there very long but did find the food excellent, the staff fantastic, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, it is not a hotel I would stay in the day before you leave since it is definitely not close to the airport. It also is not near any stores or restaurants. This hotel is best for a romantic getaway or a leisurely, restful stay.

Stayed here last night and it was awesome. Every member of staff we met was great and to top it off, the villa was actually owned and renovated by an Australian. The grounds are so impressive and the house itself was fantastic. There was been a considerable effort to preserve the original paintwork on the walls and ceilings, that is evident in most of the rooms. The ballroom however is perfect and the art work above is reminiscent of a church. The building is circa 200 years old so it's got all of the characteristics that you would expect from something that age:eg creaking floor boards, undulating floors etc, but that's all part of its charm. I've read some negative reviews and was surprised. Their description did not remotely reflect the hotel. Whether attributable to a geographical mix up or something untoward, I know not, but I could not recommend this place moreso.

Stayed one night in a Classic Standard room. The overall impression of the villa and grounds is quite impressive. Driving into the estate you really feel as though you have "arrived". Our Classic Standard room was quite large with good furnishing and good AC. The bathroom however was difficult to maneuver due to the awkward layout (we apparently had an "handicapped equipped" room). It was impossible to reach the towel rack (behind the shower stall) and although there was a folding seat in the shower there was no place to put soap or shampoo except on the floor of the shower. Housekeeping was less than desired as we found partially used shampoo bottles and some sort of "foreign object" in the sink drain. The main villa is quite impressive. Nice pool and large grounds (laking some landscape maintenance though). Front desk service was acceptable but less than "warm". We had a small group dinner and found the food to be average banquet food at best. The cod served was quite dry and tough. Decent breakfast buffet. First impression of the property is amazing. Lack of follow up with the details and service make for a stay that is less than it should be. Acceptable for a one night stay if you want to experience a 1500's Italian villa but would not want to stay there long. The villa is not really walkable to a anything so a car is a must.
