Very beautiful view to the mountains. The owner and the sweet cook Maria was also fantastic facillitators of this hotel. That felt like home. Very nice music in front of the fire, and not to mention the higlight of the stay the two dogs Duna and Logan that made my 2 kilo red pomchi very welcome. Believe or not Duna was very protective ind the most gentle way and made my dog feel so safe and wecome ＜3 Sadly a couple next to us left there two very anxious dogs alone for more than an hour barking for hours. I wish the staff would have thought about finding a diffrent room for them, as it seemed like the hotel was not full, and that the staff had taked action of the problem. I was the one that need it to stop it. It could also be nice to know who to call in case of they had barked the whole night. Dogs bark as a part of there nature, but leaving them right aftet the check in alone for more than an hour so anxious and loud, made the last part of our stay stressful. The owner took care of this in a very professional way.

Very good impressions - helpful staff, family atmosphere, great views. The location favors for many trails of hiking in the mountains, for which Mr. Pedro gave great recommendations, addressed my expectations, and provided with neccessary maps

They call this hotel home from home and the moment you walk in, you can see why. The atmosphere is just fantastic, the staff, the rooms, the food and the views are all just amazing. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. If you are looking for somewhere to stay for a complete relax but close enough to be able to visit Granada and all that the Sierra Nevada offers then this hotel ticks all the boxes. would highly recommend.

Very friendly staff, comfortable room (shower a bit challenging). An amazing view of the Granada conurbation. We also had an evening meal there which was lovely. The stairs were not a problem as the staff very kindly took our bags upstairs. Breakfast was excellent. Would recommend.

The staff at this hotel made our experience very nice. Our room itself was just okay...a bit dark with an awkwardly designed bathroom, no view and the smallest wall TV in history. But the beds were comfortable for sleeping. But the rest of the visit was great. Upon arrival, we were told the restaurant was fully booked but that the chef said we could be seated at 9:30 if we could wait that long. We did. SAnd although we had to order our meals in advance and some items were unavailable, the dinner was great. We had a table with a magnificent view looking at the lighted town of Granada from above. We could listen to country sounds of horses neighing birds chirping as we ate. Hotel rabbits chomped the grass feet from our table. The food was lovingly prepared and felt homemade. The service was outside. And when I tried to tip our service, he refused saying "He was just happy." In the morning, the buffet breakfast was a great way to start the day with fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit and other items. The hotel isn't 5-star but it made us feel like we were staying at a relative's home. We loved that and would return if in the area.

El Balcon de las Nieves is een kleinschalig, charmant hotel in de Sierra Nevada. Ideaal voor rustzoekers, want echt niks in de buurt wat je rust kan verstoren. De ideale uitvalbasis voor wandelingen in de Sierra (Pico Veleta, Monachil ...) Heel vriendelijke ontvangst met een persoonlijke rondleiding, heel aangenaam. De kamer was ruim, authentiek ingericht, groot balkon met uitzicht op Granada en de bergen, prachtig!! Ruime badkamer met prima douche en alles heel netjes. Ontbijtbuffet was prima verzorgd, en je kan aan het zwembad zitten met een prachtig panorama. Ook het diner was heel lekker. Je geeft tijdens de dag door wat je wil eten en wanneer, en alles wordt prima geregeld voor jou. Pedro en zijn team doen er echt alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. Ook de 2 heel lieve honden en de konijntjes geven een huiselijk gevoel. Kortom een echte aanrader voor wie van rust, stilte en een persoonlijke behandeling houdt. Wij hadden het perfecte verblijf hier !
