Just back from a fantastic week at domaine la Yole. I really don’t know why they have bad reviews because to our family everything was faultless. The caravan was clean and well equipped with everything. Oven, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher and plenty of cutlery etc. and the decking/terrace area was perfect for lazy mornings and relaxing evenings ! The pool area was fantastic. Great mix of pools for all ages my kids loved it there and were not interested in going to the beach as they wanted to be around the pool with the friends they made. The new lagoon area is great and really relaxing, with limited amount of people allowed in. British men don’t be worried about having to wear speedos, we were allowed to wear our usual swimming shorts, just make sure they are proper netted swim shorts. We were very impressed with how clean the pools areas were. Smart move domaine la yole not allowing food and drinks to go around the pool area from the snack bar. Also lots of lifeguards there daily. The highlight of our holiday though was the animation team. They were brilliant and worked so hard each day. Friendly, welcoming and always went out of their way to explain everything in English aswel and French. We will definitely be retuning, cannot wait

Just back from a great week at this site. Booked with Eurocamp and as a previous Eurocamp/Keycamp customer of old, I thought I knew what to expect. Unfortunately the old days of the Eurocamp reps has gone, at this site anyway, which was disappointing. This item is owned by the same ECG parent company and branded as a Manvile Parcs site. Very professionally run parc, with absolutely tons of things to do, just as well as a little bit away from the main Valras Plage resort centre. Both pool areas are brilliant and so different. The relaxing lagoon pool with gorgeous fine white sand which limits the amount of people who can enter, giving a really chilled out experience. The all action main pool has a number of pools with exciting watersides and regular animation team dancing sessions etc. The entertainment area is well laid out allowing a great view of the stage from the restaurant, bar and kids play areas. Has a vibrant village feel. A mix of visiting bands and site animation team shows makes it worthwhile going down there at night. Mobiles were OK, strangely no ovens in any of them, our daughter's one had a dishwasher, but still no oven. Weather was fantastic and all in all a great holiday was had by all.

After reading some of the reviews I must say I was a little worried before going on our holiday (last minute change of site due to a fire at the original resort we were booked onto) What can I say other than we had the best week ever !! The caravan we had was clean, well equipped with a lovely covered decking/terrace area. They are quite basic and the bedding isn’t the nicest looking bit of you get why you pay for. If it’s luxury you want then do a 5 star all inclusive. We loved the freedom of our caravan, and the choice to cook ourselves or eat out. Lots of reviews on here say about how close the caravans are to each other, yes they are close in proximity but just the same as a uk caravan park. The pools were fantastic. A lovely balance of pools for young children and older children, with water slides to suit all ages. The security around the pools was great and the main guy working there so friendly. There were plenty of lifeguards about each pool too, in fact the most I’ve ever seen whilst on a holiday abroad. The pool area was so clean. They don’t allow food and ice cream around the pools, but you can sit in the little snack bar to have a drink and some snacks. The pool area doesn’t open until 10am and closes at 7pm (8pm from July onwards) we found this quite late the first day for opening but by day 2 we actually liked the later opening. We found it more relaxing as we could have lazier mornings after late nights and enjoyed the freedom of not having to get up early to get to breakfast and get to the pool. The animation team are about the pool each day, our children loved the aqua aerobics (or pool dancing as they called it) and it’s very popular the team have a way of drawing people in to get involved and spend all day playing with the kids. Don’t be put off with the tight swimming trunks for men. We panic bought speedo style shorts after seeing reviews thinking my husband and son wouldn’t be allowed in without them, but they were able to wear their usual swim shorts, as long as they are netted (which they generally are) you will be absolutely fine. There are plenty of sun loungers. We always managed to get some even on the days we went up to the pool later. The only downside of the loungers are that there are only a few with umbrellas for shade and they get snatched up straight away (people queue for the pool in the morning to get them) however the the little market shop sell parasols in there and you are allowed to take them into the pool area. We saw many families doing this. The one down side to the pool (or could also be a positive) is that they don’t allow inflatables in there (unless it’s a baby float) so don’t waste your money on the inflatables being sold in the shop, as you will only be allowed to use them down the beach. The new lagoon style pool is beautiful and so relaxing. It’s not too deep either so really safe for children. They also only allow a certain amount of people in there so it doesn’t get over cr

Fantastic site with many facilities. Very clean and lots to do. Beautiful lagoon! The only downside was the lack of umbrellas available by the pools, in the 37degree heat with young family there needed to be more.

Excellent site for families. Great pool areas, close to beach, entertainment and play areas. Loved it here. Restaurant, take away, grocery shop, boulangerie, shop etc. Also a great place to visit other parts of France for day trips and shopping

The park itself is fine. If you have stayed in one of these style places before, then you should know what to expect. Don't expect 5 star accommodation. As a family of 4 we don't mind the crampt cabins and we don't have very high expectations. However in this campsite we had an incident where I lost my wristband and when I went to the reception to get a replacement I was referred to the security office. The intimidation I experienced there was beyond anything I have ever experienced in any situation in my normal interactions with people. I was told in no uncertain terms that I was on my last chance and that if I lost my wristband for a second time that I would not be allowed to enter the site again. Specifically he said that my wife and children could stay but I couldn't. Therefore without any provocation at all you can be threatened by security with removal from the site and separated from your family for accidentally losng your wristband twice. My wife and children are horrified and all the fun has gone out of the holiday on day 2. My children want to go home now because they are terrified that I will be kicked out of the campsite if I lose my wristband again. I am counting down the days until I can leave. Don't book this place, there is something majorly wrong in terms of security. It feels like you are a prisoner and the security guards are the the prison guards, and they relish the confrontation.

Absolutely amazing everything was clean, staff amazing, prices of food on the site was standard, nothing out of place, entertainment was spot on, not a foot wrong in any department. 5* all round, so much so we’ve been back 2 days and have already booked to re visit the same site for the same dates next year!!

Lovely campsite that is well situated for the beach (300m walk) and getting out and about to explore the area...Beziers and Carcassone are both beautiful places. Lots to go nearby...high ropes, go karts etc. Our static caravan was basic but had all that we needed. There is a small super market on site but directly opposite the entrance there is an excellent boulangerie for croissants, bread and cakes. Only issue I found was that the pool was overcrowded and they quickly ran out of sun loungers. There were lifeguards on site, so we felt safe, but probably not enough of them for the number of people and the size of the area. It was good at the start of the week (before the French schools broke up) as they enforced height rules on the slides etc but they then gave up when it go busier. Great independent restaurant called Le Triangle by the beach exit...excellent pizzas, steak, burgers etc. Well worth going if the French kids are in school.

Lovely park for families. The food options are limited but what they have is decent. The mini disco was all in French which our kids didn’t understand as they speak English. Staff were wonderful and friendly especially the guy on the water park gate. When we arrived our accommodation was dirty so we had to request to get it cleaned and then wait outside while it was cleaned which wasn’t a great first impression but the campsite itself was very clean.
