Spacious ground level apartment in a very charming part of Venice. It was quiet and peaceful and a good amount of space for our family of four.Host was punctual for check in and had good advice on restaurants in the area

Good location, but needs new beds Location was very good and host was kind and helpful. He even came to the vaporetto stop to pick us up. The beds - especially the queen bed - were in bad shape and needed replacement. Bring able to sleep is an important factor for most, I would guess. The place had some charm and was well-stocked, but there were some strange smells in the bathroom. Perhaps this is just a Venice thing as plumbing must be challenging. In the end, the only reason we wouldn't stay again was the beds.

We had an amazing time in this quiet Venetian neighborhood. Luciano was so kind and the apartment had everything we needed. The area felt very safe for our family and there was great food nearby. We recommend this place to anyone with kids or if you want to be in a quiet area of the city where you can feel the spirit of local Venice alive (and escape all the crowds!).

Stay in Venice If you want a more quiet stay this is a great location. Luciano was a great host- met us at the water bus stop and showed us the place personally and gave a few great tips/recommendations. It was comfortable and had everything we needed however had a strong musty odor that other guests have mentioned. We weren’t there during the day much at all, so we didn’t have the opportunity to try and air it out.

Venice Nice area, quiet, and plenty of places to eat but a little far from the square.

Experience Venice like a local Luciano and Lucy's ground level flat was an excellent home base in a quiet residential area close to a park, a water bus stop, and some excellent restaurants. There was plenty of space for our family of 4 and we enjoyed the cosy feel. There was a stale odor that aired out after leaving the windows open for a day - possibly because we visited in the off.season and had been the first guests.in a while.
