The location was excellent, but the amenities were too old and run down. The receptionist chose a very small damp room in another building around the hotel for me. He claimed it belongs to the same hotel, but the building had another name and it was like an apartment building divided into little tiny rooms. Considering the price, it wasn't worth it. I left the light on during the night as the room seemed a bit scary. The breakfast was ordinary. The only good thing about the hotel is the location.

the hotel is ideally situated for tourism purposes. the room we had was clean and tidy and everything worked. it would have been better if there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. the room was made up each day which was nice .the breakfast was very basic and the coffee was revolting. we used the bar one evening and found the the staff rude and unhelpful . overall the stay was ok

What kinda shot hotel that is!
Is it a hotel or a maze?It took like 5 minutes to get to the room!So many turns to go!After getting out ofthere, It's a totally different building!Where am I?Let alone there bad attitude!So Arrogant!
They gave us an attic to live!Is that for human beings?We kept bumping into our heads on the rooftop!Holy ****!

Excellent location with very clean rooms. Rooms are small but normal for Venice. Hotel offers luggage storage before and after your stay, provides WiFi and your stay includes breakfast with excellent choices, including warm fresh croissants.
Amazing bar and restaurant directly across hotel to your right as you step out the front door with some of the best chefs and food I have ever tasted.
Reception desk staff could be more friendly. Only one staff member had a good personality and always happy to help with a smile. My hats off to him, every guest loved him. That being said, all the staff members of the hotel were helpful and competent.

Ancient building with narrow spiral staircases. There are elevators. Two buildings, the main one and on the next street.
If you are lucky enough to live higher up, there will be an authentic view of the Venetian roofs

The hotel has a very atmospheric atmosphere. You can really get lost in the corridors, but only the first couple of times, then you get used to it. The renovation is fresh, it is obvious that it was recently updated. The location is good, close to the sights. You can get there from the station by river transport, or you can walk there in 30 minutes.
The breakfasts are modest, of all the 4 hotels in Italy where we were, the poorest choice. But even here you can eat your fill: cereal, muesli, cheese, ham, jam, yogurt, croissant and drinks.
The only thing I really didn't like: there is no kettle and water in the room - this is expected, but the fact that hot tea cannot be bought even at the bar is a big minus.

The reception was not particularly friendly. The smell was extremely unpleasant throughout the hotel. The breakfast was unacceptable. Overall, it was very impersonal, and the rooms were not that easy to access. Absolutely not recommended for people with disabilities. I wouldn't choose this hotel again.
