Despite the small size of the rooms and smell of mould, Rialto hotel boasts a great location with amazing view of the historic Rialto bridge and the grand canal. We were lucky to enjoy the annual Regatta parade of charming gondolas passing by the canal just sitting by the windows of our hotel room. Tasty Venetian style breakfast is served in the water front terrace with view. A major renovation would greatly improve the quality of this hotel!

The breakfast is simply enough to eat bread, cake, milk, cereal, etc. The economy double room has a narrow space, and it is better to store luggage. The nearest is a luxury shopping street, and cafes are quite close.

Great location. Room was small but did its job. Staff was accommodating and helpful. Only downfall, LOTS OF STAIRS. Traveling with a baby and stroller, up and down the stairs was hell.

This place is a real gem in Venice. Location Location is very good, walkable distance to anywhere (10 mins to Piazza San Marco/St. Mark’s Square). Lots to eat in the vicinity and lots of interesting art galleries on the street. Room Our place was on the top floor and consisted of two rooms. Both had classical decoration. Our daughter especially loved her room. Our room was also very romantic. Bathroom is modern and brand new. Check-in/Staff Entrance and check-in is automatic, very easy and hassle-free. The hosts are always reachable and answer via phone/Whatsapp immediately in case of questions. Easy communication in English. Price/Performance Ratio Impressive. Everything was better than other hotels in Venice that we paid double the price. Extras Lots to eat and drink. Complimentary coffee, croissants, crackers, water, orange juice etc. Downside The only downside was having to carry the luggage two floors, but I guess that’s common in Venice.

We liked everything, a very unusual for us 16th century building😍, helpful staff😘. Excellent wi-fi. We were very pleased with the kettle with tea accessories🥳. The only downside is that there is no way to contact the hotel via wi-fi, only by phone, if you do not know the language, then this is a problem, since the keys to the room must be picked up at another hotel 350 meters from Casa Dolce.

Stayed at the Venice Sanctuary Hotel for three days in early November. As many tourists commented, the hotel was clean and tidy, antique, and free self-cooked coffee. Especially very close to various major attractions, very close, it can be said to be close at hand! And I especially want to praise a Miss Huang at the front desk of the hotel! For me, a free traveler who basically does not speak English and is alone, I thank the beautiful Italian Chinese girl Miss Huang! When I came to the front desk of the hotel, I found that the staff was Chinese, so I asked her if she could communicate in Chinese? Although Miss Huang is Italian, my fluent Chinese language and I are really overjoyed! Ms. Huang was patient and enthusiastic. She carefully told me how to go to the airport, how to get to the waterway, how to get to the bus, how much the fare, how much time, how to buy tickets for the water bus, how to ride. These are really important to me! I immediately felt that I was a lot more at ease and I was very happy. Here, I want to express my sincere thanks to Miss Huang again!
