This is really a pension rather than a villa. It’s over-priced, and the proprieter responds inflexibly to guest complaints. She did in our case. Concerns about no air conditioning, absence of proper towels, fridge not working, sour milk and a measly tea/coffee offering were dismissed. A small gesture to reach out a welcoming hand would have been welcome. Perhaps a free breakfast, or even a few extra teabags! At 100 bucks, this is over-the-odds and one is simply paying for the smart Lido address/ location. Stay away!

Enjoyed a lovely stay at the hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms, plus quiet at night. Only 300m from the main water bus station with quick easy access to Venice and the other islands. Plenty if eateries close by. Breakfast was a simple continental spread which was great to start the day. Very good value for money.

+ The hotel is in a quiet location + Very friendly staff + Rooms are clean + Close to the center and harbor + Coffee in the room If you value a rich breakfast, you've come to the wrong place. - Breakfast is absolutely unsatisfactory, 1 Gipel per person, 1 small soft bread roll and pre-packaged sample foods such as rice cakes, biscuits, etc. No buffet, no meat, no hard cheese, etc. and the blood orange juice tastes like it's been diluted. Sorry, that's not possible. Providing a toaster and toast or a loaf of bread to cut yourself would be the minimum and doesn't cost much, even though we do pay for breakfast. - They cut costs a lot on breakfast and that's a shame -

Villa Cipro on the Lido of Venice: but is it a hotel? In front of the house, traces of a missing stair carpet; no reception: housekeepers welcome in the morning, no one in the afternoon or at night; handling elevator; in the room, the constant noise of a motor, day and night, but no reversible air conditioning or heating working in the room, nor the bath; wardrobe without door; no kettle; tiny bath, napkin cloth hand towels; on the last day, no one for breakfast: a bag with rusks, for the drink, manage! Can we recommend?!

The hotel is well located on the Lido, convenient to everything, quiet and in a beautiful villa. Unfortunately, the positive part of the review ends here. Staff present only in the morning, then reception always deserted, you enter with a code. The room wouldn't be bad, but the cleanliness isn't that great, torn sheets never changed in 5 days, toilet seat broken and never fixed (reported, but apparently a plumber was needed...), rather uncomfortable cloth towels. No bars. But the thing that really isn't up to the standard of a 3 star is the breakfast: served on the terrace, even in the rain, no buffet, it consists of a small sandwich and a croissant, frozen and reheated and chewy, butter, jams, chocolate spreads from unknown brands placed haphazardly in a small bowl, an apple, a yoghurt, watered down juice, a hot drink. We saw cereals being served to neighbors at the table and when we asked we were told that they had asked for them previously. In short, it would have excellent potential, and I believe that with little expense it could be really improved a lot. (For example, for breakfast at least a fresh roll from the baker!).

In this structure we were welcomed with courtesy and professionalism, they fulfilled our requests and the rooms were always nice and warm. While not in Venice, public transport allows you to get there easily.
