This hotel is an absolute disgrace, advertised as ski in/ski out and is an absolute dive looking to fine you for anything We arrived at night and the staff seemed overwhelmed at the simple check in procedure which I’m sure they’ve done many times keeping us in a boiling hot lobby for nearly half hour The rooms are like a prison cell. We had 6 males in a room with two bedrooms and one sofa bed, to which all the beds are horrendous and so uncomfortable. The rooms get very very hot without being able to control it and the quality of pillows, mattresses and quilt were so sub par I wish I had bought my own and paid for overweight luggage. On arrival we we’re obviously aware this was self catering but when you are provided with 1 toilet roll for 6 grown males it’s asking for trouble really, and when asking reception they say it’s not within their policy to give us any ( that’s when you can find someone there ! ) the doors all open the wrong way in the corridors of the rooms so there is little room to roam about. We had a great deal of mould building around the base of our shower which was disgusting. The reception seemed to be the only bit of space within the whole hotel which then resulted in kids evening shows being on every night which is not shown anywhere when booking because it is just a cringe fest and makes getting through so much harder because people are recording and blocking the walkways This hotel is also loooking to fine you for just about anything, saying we need to take our rubbish down to the bins on departure, sorry are people not paid to do this, at the end of the holiday when I’ve had enough of this place for 3 nights already I need to go take bins downstairs. They will fine you if you don’t and they honestly will find anything to fine you for. You are not allowed to wear your ski boots in the hotel therefore meaning you have to carry your skis, boots, poles etc up 2 elevators ! Simply because the main one looks deserted due to being out of order. Then when out of the elevator you are forced to put your boots on outside whilst just standing on a bit of mesh. The system they have implemented just does not work and this hotel needs to have a complete re gig in staff, quality, system because nothing about this hotel is good and the added features such as steam room, sauna, pool are all naff, the sauna has a massive gap at the bottom so it’s not a sauna…. Steam room is a meter squared box and the pool is kid infested and the locker system in the pool poses a great deal to theft.

Good: Location, ski lockers, on-site ski maintenance Bad: Sauna/Steam room tiny for a huge complex. Reception hours not great, especially for bakery service. No enforcement of rules for ski equipment in rooms (so what is the rule)?

Except for the temperature of the swimming pool / hamman and ambient temperature in the spa area, everything was perfect. Team entertainment and welcome desk people were very friendly and helpful. Apartment very confortable with good beds and beautiful view

We had a nice modern apartment, 3 bedrooms plus sofa bed. It would have been tight for 8 but was OK for 6. Layout could have been better - instead of one bedroom being en-suite just have two bathrooms (more accessible). Apartment could do with more sofas as there was only the sofa bed. The rules about cleaning at the end and stripping beds etc are tight but we abided by them and got the deposit back within 48 hours. Outside lift is not working so the way to access the Super Vénosc lift is from floor 8, as ski boots are not allowed to be worn inside you need spare indoor shoes to leave at the entrance to floor 8.

Our recent stay at this hotel was an unmitigated disaster from start to finish, leaving us questioning not only the management's competence but also their basic understanding of hospitality. To begin, we endured the nightmare of being trapped in the hotel lift for 40 minutes, a distressing experience exacerbated by the complete lack of acknowledgment from the staff. One might expect an apology, perhaps even a gesture of goodwill—champagne, a note, anything—but alas, there was nothing but silence. The room itself was another affront to our expectations. Advertised as suitable for six, it comprised one double bed, two bunk beds, and a sofa bed crammed into a space that barely fit four comfortably. The layout was so claustrophobic it felt more appropriate for a prison cell than a hotel room. To add insult to injury, the doors refused to shut properly, offering neither privacy nor security. The so-called "health suite" was no better. The pool and sauna, presumably intended to provide relaxation, were inexplicably freezing, rendering them unusable. How does one manage to chill a sauna? A question for the ages—and the management, though they seem unlikely to answer. The lift, which already proved unreliable, remained broken for half our stay, forcing us to trudge up and down five flights of stairs. This was particularly aggravating when hauling suitcases at check-out. To compound this indignity, the staircase was littered with vomit on our final day—a charming farewell gift. Adding to the chaos, security pounded on our door at 2:30 AM, waking everyone with the urgency of an impending catastrophe. Their concern? A cardboard box left outside. Their response? Threats of a €200 fine, which felt absurdly disproportionate to the "offense." In summary, this establishment manages to fail spectacularly on every conceivable level. If you enjoy freezing saunas, nonfunctional lifts, and being treated as an inconvenience by staff, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I recommend avoiding it at all costs.

We spent new year at the hotel 2024. A family of 5 in a lovely apartment overlooking the town. Totally confused by the negative reviews of this place. The staff are lovely and very helpful, the hotel is great for kids with activities every night. We loved it. Hired from the ski shop below the hotel which was easy. Buses run outside every 10 mins to the slopes which are walkable. The apartment was great. Plenty of room, 2 bathrooms, well done throughout. Kitchen had everything we needed but we mostly eat out. There is a pool which is a little on the cold side but lovely and clean. Sauna and steam room were great. The ferocious deposit requirements and fines are basically due to ****** attending the rise festival who have caused problems for the hotel. So as long as you're not planning on smashing the place up and being a dick then it's all good. Don't forget that these are pretty much self catering apartments which they quite clearly state. Yes this means you need to buy your own toilet roll (whoever wrote the negative reviews is likely a trust fund chalet dweller expecting a 5 star concierge). Loved it and will come again.

Just returned from spending Christmas week in this hotel. Cannot fault it. I'm not sure what the negative reviews are based on. We were a family of 6 with older teenagers and we found our 2 bed apartment to be very comfortable. A large sofa bed, bunk beds and a big master bedroom. Two shower and one toilet, but with plenty of public toilets in the hotel this wasn't a problem. Loads of hot water. Perhaps the only improvement would be one more comfy chair. Helpful staff who were happy to point us in the right direction and print-out information when necessary. A great kitchen set up with all the cooking utensils you could need. Large fridge, 3 hobs a dual function oven, offee maker, toaster and dishwasher. You are provided with 6 dishwasher tablets so take more. There is also a washing machine and dryers in the hotel which I believe is €9. You can have breakfast pastries and bread delivered if ordered before 18.00 for 08.00 the next morning, but my husband liked getting up and walking to the local boulangerie. There is access to a small ski area behind the hotel. This benefitted us on the first day of the holiday as most of the lifts were closed on the upper slopes in the main ski range. As a result we were told that there were large queues, however behind the hotel we went up and down the chairlift with no waiting time. For the rest of the holiday it really is less than 10 minutes to the main chair lift. The "hill" down from the hotel is just a 30 second walk. If you can't walk to the lifts the buses are very accessible, and we used it to get to the night skiing which was great fun. Special mention for the ESF ski show which we really enjoyed and the free mulled wine and hot chocolate. The boot room is fine, there are pinchpoints but as a family of 6 we always got out without a problem. We hired our skis from skiset below the hotel. They were really helpful for directions to places and changed boots when needed. We had two really nice meals out at The Spot (build your own burger) and Les Sagnes (tradional fondue, crepes, gallettes etc). Both delicious. All in all we thought the hotel and resort were fabulous and will definitely want to go back.

Well 5th trip to France. Location is good, large hotel, rooms spotless modern great size for a party of 7. The hotel is huge..we did have to request a lower level apartment due to mobility etc...lovely pool sauna and steam room...plenty of towels but would take some of your own in particular for the swim/pool. Resort quite compact...recommended is to book restaurants in advance. The bus is alleged to run every 10/15 minutes to the Jandri which is the central point in particular fir ski school and magic carpet etc...before arriving do some research as it is not as easy to navigate as you may think. Ski rental is possible everywhere...however as not to carry our skis and boots with us each morning and evening back to hotel lockers we hired a rental space at the foot of the Jandri..which wad great for us and the children to walk back to hotel ( buses not dependable). This will cost 5 euros pp per day. Food is accessible fresh bread and a number of supermarkets avaable. Remember to adhere to the request on departure to ensure 400 euros deposit is returned to you..and take pictures as we have on leaving to ensure this...overall a great ski experience fir us all...sadly there is no help from the French but this is across the board in my experience spanning years...shame really...I would recommend the hotel and resort though
