We booked our one-night stay at the last moment as our self-drive tour went a bit awry at the end of our holiday. Fortunately, they had a deluxe room available which proved to be very comfortable, complete with jacuzzi bathtub, which was much appreciated after a fraught journey. The hotel,- a new-build (but in traditional style) is surrounded by vineyards, feels quite isolated on its’ lonely hilltop, but of course this means it makes for a very peaceful, tranquil setting, overlooking Haliacmon reservoir. Its’ location means it a perfect bolt-hole for visiting the archaeological sites of Vergina only a short distance away. I should imagine it is also a popular venue for weddings and other functions. The owners are a delightful husband and wife team who seem to run the place single-handedly when things are quiet. Indeed, while there, apart from another couple, we had the place to ourselves resulting in the evening meal in the restaurant being disappointing. The breakfast, on the other hand, was splendid with all manner of Greek specialities. Quiet, relaxing rural stay.

Impolite staff with complete absence of basic human interaction skills. For no reason at all, we found ourselves amidst unprofessional and unhospitable behavior that ruined our experience overall. Average food quality for such a nice location.

Wunderbarer Ort zum Erholen und die Gegend um Vergina, Veria und Naoussa zu erkunden. Ruhig, auf einem Hügel gelegen mit phantastischer Aussicht und sehr schönen Zimmern. Abendessen war auch sehr nett und gut. Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden.

Πολύ ζεστό κυριολεκτικά και μεταφορικά περιβάλλον αν θέλει κάποιος ηρεμία, επαφή με τη φύση, επαγγελματισμός, μας σέρβιρε πρωινό σε ώρα βολική για εμάς, τηρούσε αυστηρά το πρωτόκολλο λόγω Covid, πολύ κοντά από Σέλι και κέντρο Βέροιας….
