Don't miss staying here if you are in the area. This is a beautiful, small, family-owned hotel on a quiet river, yet just a 2 minute walk to a bustling town with lots of coffee shops, restaurants, and store. Spotlessly clean and well cared for, this small hotel is a jewel. The mattress is very comfortable and there are room darkening shades on all the windows. And I can't say enough about our host family. Our car had trouble just as we were parking for our stay. Barbara took care of us, making arrangements for their mechanic to work on our car. My husband and I had a delightful time and look forward to returning next year!

This hotel is a lovingly restored old house in one of the old sections of Veria. It is within easy walking distance of everything in town. Vera made us feel right at home in our big room overlooking the river, and she served us a very good breakfast with many homemade goodies.

on a cobblestone street, near a flowing river - you forget you are also in a thriving town. We stayed in a suite with an open view and terrace. The room is furnished beautifully in the style of its original design, but has all the modern function one needs. We had a fresh and delicious breakfast each morning. Vera, our host, was wonderful and helped us with transfers to Vergina as well as Thessaloniki. We knew very little about Veria itself and soon discovered wonderful dining options and the astonishing Byzantine Museum. We can’t wait to return!

We stayed for 1 night at the eco suite. The eco suite is in a different building than Kokkino spiti is. The room was in the 1st floor , big enough to accomodate the four of us , river view , the bed was really comfortable. However i think it is overrated (we payed 150€ per night without breakfast) .I expected more amenities and luxury for this price. Another downside is that the floor creaks and every step you take makes it incofortable for the people living on the rooms on the ground floor. The rooms seem to need soundproof.

This hotel is set on the banks of the river, which runs through Beroia, a city well known in ancient times and in fact mentioned in the New Testament. Our room was clean, well decorated and comfortable with an excellent shower. You paid extra for breakfast but at 10 Euros each, it was certainly worth it (good and plentiful food eaten in a charming dining room). The staff were helpful and the location good (it's pretty central). Access is a a slight problem - if you are driving you have to negotiate a set of narrow, twisty roads and ours sat nav struggled to access the place. It's next two the old synagogue, which dates from the 1850s and, remarkably, was not burnt by the Nazis. It's certainly worth a visit for all sorts of reasons, not last the excellence and dedication of the guide. This is a good hotel from which to explore the Vergina tombs and other ancient Macedonian sites.

Hotel room and breakfast were expensive when compared to other hotels in other parts of Greece during our recent tour. We were asked to estimate our arrival time (16.00) however at 16.15 no one was at the establishment and the door was locked. We had to telephone for a staff member to book us in, no real apology given. We had I believe room 301, accessed from reception but with steep stairs. Room had view towards the river but river is just bushes and trees, no sound of running water at all. Room furniture shabby not chic. Refrigeration unit almost useless. Room very dark. I expect you can guess neither my wife nor I liked the place much. Old town area is pleasant but that's all. Parking is tight. Breakfast was pretty poor for the price coffee awful, breakfast room had no atmosphere. Would not return.

Marvellous little hotel in the Jewish quarter of Veria, right next to the historic synagogue. Old building is gently renovated and offers great value for money. We enjoyed 4 nights in a spacious room with a balcony on the river. Excellent bed. When you book online you will receive a detailled plan how to drive to the building, read it carefully as the hotel is not easy to find! We consider Veria an authentic town that has preserved a lot of its ordinary daily life. We did not feel as tourists but were welcomed everywhere as guests. Do not miss the old cathedral, the museum and a walk to the many Byzantine churches. You also might want to visit the tombs in the area of Naoussa close to Veria.

The hotel is amasingly charming and the hosts are welcoming and very helpful to find our way around. The hotel is in the traditional jewish quarter of Babouta. It is a little bit of a maze with a refreshing river crossing it. We followed all our host recommendations and enjoyed our stay very much. We slept soundly in very clean and very confortable room.
