San Leonardo Suites

This "hotel" "B&B" or whatever it's called was an absolute disaster for me and not worth the money. It was dirty, not allergy-friendly, loud and uncomfortable. We left after one (1) night. You can only check in between 12 and 18:00 and have to pay a fine if you lock yourself out (200€ so that someone can come and give you a new room card). The towels are only changed every 3 days. I have a dust allergy and could hardly breathe in the room. It was poorly cleaned (see photos). The location is just, well, you have to walk 15 minutes to the old town. The photos of the hotel are very well lit, unlike reality. Overall, the price is unfortunately not understandable, it would probably be OK for half the price. Unfortunately, not again.

We have been staying at this hotel for 4 nights. The room with a good bed, comfortable and large. No closets for clothes. It only has some bars with hangers to hang. There is no place to leave the suitcase open. One of the ones we had was on the desk. The spacious bathroom. Towels are changed every 3 days unless you specifically request it. But the worst, the breakfast! There is nothing. The rock-hard rolls, an industrial sponge cake, some cooked ham and slices of cheese, hard-boiled eggs, no hot breakfast (scrambled food, omelette...), the same pancakes every day. You can't toast anything. If you want toast, the manager takes some slices of whole wheat bread from a bag and toasts them in a frying pan. In short, a shameful breakfast. It has no reception. They are only present between 7 am and 11 am. Outside of these hours, if you need them, for example, because you have forgotten the key in the room, the mistake can cost you between €100 and €200. I'm not exaggerating! It is written in the instructions they give you with the key.

Il San Leonardo Suites è un buon hotel dotato di camere spaziose ed accoglienti. E' situato a poca distanza dal Ponte Pietra e dal centro di Verona. Parcheggio in loco a disposizione dei clienti. Staff professionale e cordiale. Ottimo per chi vuole visitare Verona o assistere ad uno spettacolo all'Arena
