Find 4-Star Hotels in Verona

I loved staying at this hotel. The service, cleanliness, organization, and comfort were very good. The breakfast was varied and delicious. When I return to Verona, I will stay here again.

1. Cleanliness - We stayed 4 nights and they didn’t clean the room for us once. Referring to some laws, but other hotels we’ve stayed at this trip all of them offer the daily cleaning service. 2. Location - City center, easily accessible to all attractions - We were able to store our shopping bags in between the shopping spree during the day 3. Service - They just did things as scripted, 2 girls chorus, nothing special. - We asked for bus information. She didn’t know. Most hotel staff should be able to provide this basic city info. 4. Amenities - No fitness. The only good is our room #50 has balcony, extra price for that ofc.

The front desk was very welcoming. Although the room facilities were a little old, they were very clean. Overall, it was very good. I would like to stay in this hotel next time I go to Verona. And the location is also very good and very convenient

It’s a bit far from the center of the ancient city of Verona. The taxi cost is more than ten to twenty euros. The time and 💰 are a bit uneconomical. You can take the bus in a hurry. It takes two euros to take a person. It takes 20 minutes to the central square. It is not convenient to take the bus with luggage. The hotel is eight or nine minutes away from the bus stop. The facilities, services, environment and breakfast of Crowne Plaza Hotel are in place, no problem, and it is also an affordable choice in the peak season.

I was skeptical reading previous reviews but decided to give it a try for one night during my business trip as I’m an IHG member. Having experienced staying at 5 different hotels in this city — most of them within walking distance on Corso Porta Nuova (main street leading from the train station to many main attractions) — I can say that Indigo was among one of my top 2 choices. The room I stayed in was tastefully decorated — the headboard of the bed immediately attracted attention, striking but elegant, with paintings seemingly telling romantic tales of the city’s history; open wardrobe was clever as it made the room seem spacious while leaving plenty of space for hanging clothes and jackets especially on a rainy day. The balcony was a super nice touch and was my favorite to come back to in the evening with a view of charming Verona at night watching people and cars passing by. Two chairs, a coffee table with blankets and a little bit of floral decorations. I spent a fair bit of time despite the cold and rain, soaking in the beautiful images which were among the most special memories I’d carry with me from this trip. Check-in was super efficient. Anna at the reception was an absolute joy to meet and interact with. She’s super kind, thoughtful and professional in helping me with storing my suitcase as I was in a rush to catch my train to a nearby city on a rainy day; she gave clear, accurate info helping me to go to the train station within 10mins; and on the next day, kindly offered recommendations for cafes. Her passion and enthusiasm and friendliness is above and beyond many of her peers. Her genuine smile stands out from others who might be just trying to get their job done. You can tell Anna is truly exceptional and a wonderful ambassador for Hotel Indigo. Keep up the good work! Breakfast service was super efficient, friendly, attentive. The professional and thoughtful gentleman offered multiple times coffee, tea, orange juice, etc, making sure each guest had everything needed for a good start of the day, quickly clearing dishes while guests stepped away - perfectly seamless. Truly outstanding attention to details. The restaurant offered a good variety of food choices: raw veggies are rare in hotel breakfast buffet but here they did so that was a plus in my book. Fresh fruits, muesli, (no sugar-added) yogurt and scrambled eggs were my go-to. Although I didn’t eat pastries or bread or drink Prosecco for breakfast, if that’s something you like then you’d be pleased to know they offered plenty to satisfy different tastes. The only thing that prevented Indigo from making my No. 1 choice in Verona was the shower. I requested specifically for a shower because from the photos shared by other travelers and reviews many commented that the bath look dated and needed update. I personally do not take baths in hotels so having a new, good water pressure shower with fast efficient drain would be way more important. They did honor my request with a standup shower corner stall. However, the square-shaped shower stall area was so small that my elbows (I’m petite size female) kept knocking on the glass doors. I believe they’re scheduled for major renovation in Jan-Feb 2024 so it’d be interesting to see if they remodel the bathrooms and showers.

The room is in the ancient city business district, you can go downstairs, convenient. The lobby is beautiful and artistic, and breakfast is OK. Except that there is no kettle in the room, no coffee machine, it is not bad.

The location is good, in 15 minutes you can walk to most of the attractions and restaurants. Staff is very nice. The room is spacious enough for our family of 3. There is even a jacuzzi in the bathroom but just no time to try it! Verona is a city full of young people. Can see groups of students everywhere. Not just going to touch the famous Juliette's breast!

Il salone d'accoglienza è bellissimo,pulito e profumatissimo. Il ragazzo alla reception era super gentile. Stanza abbastanza spaziosa con arredi un po' datati ma il bagno era nuovo e completo. Colazione ottima

It is very close to Juliet's home and the Arena Opera House. There are also supermarkets, Chinese restaurants, bus stops, and various coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The room is very clean, the air conditioner is new, the room and bathroom are large, and the kitchen utensils, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, pots and pans are very convenient.

Hotel is right on the main shopping district. It is 1min walk away from LV (start of the shopping street), and the Arena (mini colosseum). You have plenty of food choices here. Breakfast is served daily in the room, so you can have the comfort of eating in your PJ. Room is huge, so you have plenty of space for your luggage etc. cleanliness is good. Only small downside is, if you are a light sleeper, you might be disturbed by the noise from the shopping district which typically ends around 11pm daily. I had a good 8 days stay here!
