What's advertised as a lush garden on Agoda is in fact a thin ***** of greenery with some plastic chairs in front in a perhaps once-noble courtyard which is now a gated parking lot. The rooms could not be more empty of any decorations or of any little luxuries if they tried. One man at the reception is charming and intelligent.

Great location in Versailles, walking distance to the castle and to train station for e.g. Paris. Many restaurants and the local market just outside of the hotel. Offers own parking which is locked during night. Small but ok breakfast buffet. Old building with clean and basic rooms. Our family room had good space, small kitchenette with fridge which we appreciated a lot. No aironditioning to get a bit warm in the summer.

So, I rated this hotel as very good, but this is based on the value. The public areas of the hotel are definitely worn and in need of work. The stairway to our room was dirty and the carpet was worn. However, once we opened the door to our room, it was different. The room is basic but it was clean and newly renovated. The room was fairly large. Parking is in the courtyard. Breakfast was standard. The wifi was a bit strange with a weak signal, didn't send photos and disconnected frequently. The location is very good -- about a 15 minute walk to the Versailles gates. There are many restaurants in the immediate area.

Two couples, both celebrating 50 years of marriage, using Rick Steve’s guide book to choose our hotel. We have stayed in Versailles before but not here. This was an excellent hotel, nice rooms overlooking the very old courtyard, quiet for sleeping. Breakfast each morning was delightful and fair priced. Walking distance to both train stations and the Palace at Versailles. Only 50 steps to the Versailles marketplace and numerous restaurants. Well done.

Centre of Versailles with private parking, close to the antique centres and the Marche Notre Dame. The rooms were small, but clean with a comfortable bed. Décor a bit tired and was disappointed that there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room. The hotel is certainly value for money and I would stay again.

We chose this hotel due to the 15 minute walking distance to Versailles. This was an old stable and is filled with history. Our room was small but quiet and functional. Shower was great! Wifi, terrible. We had breakfast there since we had early tickets for Versailles. The gentlemen helping with breakfast were very kind and checking to see if everything was ok. There are several restaurants nearby.

Literie très confortable, accueil chaleureux, petit déjeuner copieux, on est au calme car on donne sur une cour privative !!! Le personnel est très professionnel car on peut leur demander ce qu'il il y a à voir et à visiter et ils donnent tous les renseignements ....
