One of the few youth hostels in Lofoten, each with its own room, but with a shared bathroom. The design inside is great. The public area, kitchen, and restaurant all have their own space, making it very comfortable to live in. The rooms and bathrooms are also super clean and have heating. The price is also cheap.
The room is fully glass, the view is super good and beautiful
There are also many activities available for guests to order. The sauna is highly recommended. There is also a lake at the back. There is no light pollution here, and if you are lucky, you can take pictures of the aurora.
In the summer, meals are provided at your own expense, and there is also a cafe on the first floor.
The location is right on the E10 road. If you rent a car, it is highly recommended to stay here for a night.

Our apartment was perfect. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchenette was ideal. The location is on the lakeshores and very peaceful. We even had an incredible Northern Light experience right from the hostel. The whole place has a lovely atmosphere

This hostel just becomes a home no matter how long you stay! The best about it are the people, the owners and volunteers and the community of guests and friends who shape this place into what it is - a beautiful, cozy, warm house in a stunning landscape that tells you so many different stories about what it experiences with every single guest and person being added to it. The rooms are renovated and decorated so nicely, with loads of taste and creativity, the people are incredibly kind and their hospitality makes you feel like you easily become a part of the community during your stay and beyond, the Café has delicious food to offer and you may find whatever activity your heart desires and craves for to fully enjoy, thrive and relax there! Highly recommend you to experience it yourself!

The dorm and hostel itself are charming and cozy. The beds are comfortable, with an en suite sink, privacy curtains, clean sheets and covers, and stunning views—10/10. However, my experience with the staff, especially upon arrival, was disappointing. I arrived at 9:30 PM, exhausted from my travels, and was not greeted at the door. Instead, a man—who I assume worked there—completely ignored my entrance and was noticeably rude and inattentive. Additionally, the staff seemed quite cliquish and did little to foster a welcoming or social atmosphere. It felt exclusive rather than inclusive, which took away from the overall experience. While I really appreciated the location and amenities, the hostel could definitely benefit from a more hospitable and engaging staff.

Very cosy hostel and the cheapest accomodation we could find on Lofoten (still not cheap though) - would definitely stay there again. They also rented us some spikes and recommended safe winter hikes, which turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. It's good to have a car though, because it's quite remote. The optional breakfast is quite pricey so we didn't try it, but there is a well equipped guest kitchen available.

One nighter, due to a shirt film shoot in Lofoten. Clean and neat + good beds. Efficient service and great communication. The breakfast is amazing! All made locally and fresh! Would love to be there during sunset and have a drink at the bar.. Next time!

Great atmosphere and very welcoming. Very friendly and helpful staff. Facility was very clean, WIFI functioned well and room was well equipped. Only issue - kitchen is small, though well equipped; makes it difficult to use when groups take over.
