I loved staying at the Duff Green mansion! The room was amazing and full of history. The beds and sheets were also very comfortable. The breakfast was also amazing. My son is very picky with his food and he loved it!

Weekend getaway
Our stay was fantastic, breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed learning the history of the home. Our one complaint was the bed could have been more comfortable.

We stayed in the Confederate room and it was great for our family. The staff were all very friendly. The home is filled with lots of antiques and fun things to look at. The breakfast was delicious and the tour afterwards was very informative. We would stay again!

The house is beautiful, it’s a great experience, the breakfast and the after tour. But there is a BIG BUT…we stay in the siege room because we didn’t want to spend that much because we were arriving late, and it’s was just a night and we were planning to wake up early ande leave because we had a long drive home, so that said… I would definitely stay here again but I would never book the siege room…you don’t have privacy, you enter the room through the kitchen so you feel a little bit awkward, and the room has like a little hall that connects the bathroom and room, you have a door from the kitchen to the hall but the room doesn’t have a door. And the door from the kitchen has open space in the top, so you can hear any other guest entering the kitchen. So if you want privacy and really enjoy the experience don’t stay in that room, you will regret it. And definitely stay for breakfast and tour, that was the thing that let me be at peace after an awful night hearing the other guest entering the kitchen at night.

Beautiful and impressive mansion like staying inside a castle. I was impressed with all the antique furnitures. That was a treat for me. I was grateful for the talk after breakfast about the history of the place.
Downside was that some staff services and the logistics could have been better. The hair conditioner bottle was indeed shampoo. My dietary preference at breakfast didn’t make it to the kitchen staff (or it was ignored/ forgotten). Staff Couldn’t find the key to my room upon check in.

It was fun to stay in such an historic building. Our room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming although the biscuits were good. The tour after breakfast was interesting.
