The room is very good and clean, with a long mosquito net. The whole hotel is like a garden. All the employees are very considerate. The boss is a local white man and the boss's wife is American. Everyone is very nice. Breakfast is customized every day. I especially like egg rolls. The coffee is also authentic. We also ordered dinner at the hotel, which is about US$25 per person. The local red wine of US$18 is super delicious. It is a five-star hotel and a rare treasure hotel!

We stayed for a couple of nights in The Courtney Lodge and enjoyed breakfast on the terrace in the mornings, sitting in the garden with a swimming pool after visiting the Falls, having a drink after dinner in the evenings. The rooms were perfect and had a little private terrace. The friendly manager Taku and his staff helped us to arrange transport, booked a game drive and a helicopter flight for us and made our stay unforgettable.

Home away from home. Perfect location for easy pick up and drop off when going out in the evening (or daytime, which we didn't need). Beautiful garden with swimming pool and summer house that included a bar filled with any drink we liked. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Beds were very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. An all round fabulous place to stay. We'll be back!

The Courtney is an oasis with character and luxury combined. The garden and sitting areas are beautiful and complete with Zimbabwean art, while rooms were spacious and offered big & comfortable king size bed. Complete, tasty breakfasts served, including delicious cappuccinos.

My only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer !!! Had I known how nice this place was we would have reduced the time we stayed in Johannesburg ,and Pretoria for and additional 2 night at Courtney lodge

We spent two nights at The Courtney while visiting Victoria Falls. The room was large and comfortable, the garden was beautiful, and the staff were attentive, courteous and helpful. One member of the staff proudly showed us around the property when we asked him about recent remodeling and his pride was well-founded. The food was excellent and both vegetarian and omnivorous fare was provided. The Courtney is within walking distance of downtown and the falls, but the staff are also happy to arrange a taxi and/or arrange activities, such as a river cruise. Watch out for marauding monkeys--keep your room door and windows closed when not at home.

We had a great time staying at The Courtney Lodge. We received great service from both Taku and Robbie. I would recommend The Courtney to anyone looking for a nice, clean and safe place to stay in Victoria Falls.

As a family of 4 adults we loved the Courtney Lodge. The rooms were ideal, clean and comfortable. We had the 2 Villa rooms and can recommend them. The lodge gardens and pool were a real treat from the hot weather. The staff and host Leslie made us at home and made our stay so pleasant. The breakfasts were delicious and a treat to look over the gardens while we ate.
