The location and price are certainly what makes this hotel most attractive. Upon checking in, we were greeted by two extremely competent and kind staff members. This was a theme throughout the stay: staff was always around and ready to help whenever needed! The hotel itself is exactly what the other reviews and images show; it is an old hotel with some minor cosmetic renovations. The hotel was clean, but it was a bit rough around the edges. For example, there was no usable AC in our room; instead, our room had a small oscillating fan sitting on the TV stand. The towel rack in the bathroom was literally ripped off the wall and hanging by a thread. Do not expect a luxury stay, but do expect kind staff and a great location.

Clean and great service from the front counter to housekeeping. We booked a room for 4 people. Had only 2 towels. Other than that generally not bad value for money.

Salomon Solomon, the staff was so rude and
I almost had to pay 100 dollars more for the deposit because they rip me off.
I barely got my deposit back the next day after talking to another staff member.
The soundproofing was so bad that I could hear everything outside. If you have other options, just go somewhere else.
I don't think I'll come back next time I travel.

Since I went there during the hot season of summer, I didn’t notice that the website didn’t state that the hotel does not have in-room cooling air conditioning. There was a small fan in room 204, and the window could not be turned on for ventilation. I stayed for two nights. There was no western sun and ventilation. The hotel staff highly recommended 👍🏼 which made my trip to Victoria perfect. In summer, hotels without air conditioning are not recommended, and it is also recommended that websites state that there is no air conditioning.
