It’s simply a fabulous place. Lovely dinner, fab wines, wonderful service, the whole place looks and feels great. And a lovely, smallish pool overlooking the Danube.

Luxury hotel and winery claiming high standards and good wine. Actually nothing special than the building on the river bank. Bad service at the entrance bittered my taste a little. Wine is OK , but would prefer other brands, especially for Gamza. Good location Probably a little bit overpriced for one of the poorest regions in EU.

We were guests of the hotel in May 2023 for 3 days, and we are happy we choose this uniquie place . The check in with Tonika from reception , was fast and with very useful additional information. They dont provide only a quality of service, they make your stay a stylish way of life. We indulged to the profesionalism fo the staff and we were feeling very comfortable and surprised all the time. Bononia Estate is an exellant for couples, romatism. The garden is amazing and the interior inside the hotel is more then a different. We dont need to talk about the fine details like comfortable pillows.....There are many things to do like Horse riding, they are making a trip with little boats on the river, we visited the castle of granmother Vida, which is very interesting and there were many more atractions. It was pleasure for us to visit the place.

Well, what can I say... This place is simply brilliant! Although my stay there was short, I managed to enjoy most of their services and facilities and everything was really great. The room was so cosy and functional. Even though I booked the cheapest one, which is a bit over the average price level in Bulgaria, it was very spacious and full of compliments and this really shows the owners' attitude. The food was so tasty and the sparkling wine at breakfast was another nice surprise. The fact that the hotel is located on the bank of the Danube river with an amazing view is just the cherry on the cake. I am looking forward to coming back again and I definitely recommend it! P.S. - don't forget to visit the winery, it's worth it!

Great Hotel on the banks of the Danube river with breathtaking views. Very well maintained hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Nice Spa facilities that were included in our stay, including a steam room, sauna, herbal sauna and infrared seats. The rooms are quite spacious and spotless. The complementary drinks are quite impressive with tea, coffee, still and sparkling water as well as a small bottle of wine. The minibar and snacks are quite pricey, but this is not a budget hotel after all. Good selection of meals for dinner and of course wines. The breakfast menu has a good selection of dishes that are freshly prepared to order - and who can resist the sparkling wine from their winery. Car parking is provided in the inside the gated complex. There is an electric changepoint as well. Great place for a relaxing time. Everything there makes you feel good - out of this world!

Breathtaking stay on the banks of the Danube
Great Hotel on the banks of the Danube river. Very well maintained hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Breathtaking view and aristocratic atmosphere. Great place for a relaxing time. Everything there makes you feel good: spa, wine, service, scenery and food.Of course, this is a winery after all, so their wines are out of this world. Feels like an alternative reality.

Grande sorpresa! Non mi aspettavo di trovare un posto così bello in tale contesto. Certamente si nota la mano di un architetto di razza. Piscina mozzafiato e zona garden molto ben fatta. Le stanze sono molto curate ed estremamente pulite.Praticamente dalla camera ti senti già immerso nel Danubio. Sono stato a pranzo circa una settimana fa con mia moglie bulgara e mio figlio e l' ho visitato tutto. La cucina è stata un altra sorpresa,abituato ad adattarmi sempre in Bulgaria, sono rimasto sbalordito. Pensavo che il ristorante avesse la stella Michelin ma mi hanno risposto di no. Così come pensavo che lo Chef fosse Italiano visto l alto profilo, accuratezza ed equilibrio dei sapori. Avevo letto su altri siti recensioni estremamente negative,ma forse le persone che le hanno redatte provengono da un contesto diverso dal mio che vivo all isola di Capri e sono un ricercatore del gusto. Ottima esperienza,complimenti ci rivedremo appena ritorno dai parenti bulgari
