Vientiane Hotels with Bars

This hotel is in a great location, with friendly, knowledgeable staff, and excellent service. Well worth the price for the absolutely clean room and atmosphere. Will definitely stay again.

The decoration is very rustic, and the color of the carpet makes people feel very uncomfortable. The air conditioner in the public area is not turned on, and the corridor is hot. The breakfast is very bad, basically the level of a county guesthouse. The hotel opened by Koreans. The quality of Korean tourists is all biased, and they are so noisy.

An older style hotel still our deluxe style room was perfectly adequate with daily servicing with smiling happy staff over the 6 days we were there. The pool on the 2nd floor is good for doing short laps and a small gym with weights and exercise machines. The daily breakfast was good with a great variety happy and efficent staff there led by Ajit a colorful character with a wealth of information we enjoyed many a chat with him. On reception Jer, Khamdy & Khoun were always smiling and helpful, reception manager Annie was lovely and most agreeable to our requests we would stay here again so obviously recommend this hotel.

I heard that the hotel owner is Chinese. The facilities and services are similar to those of the domestic all-seasons. Although the location is not in the downtown area, it is very convenient to take a taxi. The hotel breakfast is also very delicious and suitable for Chinese stomachs

I've stayed here many times whilst working in Laos. It's a very central location so easy to walk to bars and restaurants int he city central area. The facilities and service are excellent. Good gym and pool never too busy. Room is ok but not quite as modern as some of the international 5* chains. The biggest plus is the staff. Very reliable, professional and friendly.

I stayed for 4 nights with my partner. The room was large and clean with a kettle, TV, AC, safe. The bed was comfortable and had a nice balcony area outside the room to sit. The pool was a welcome respite after a day in the humidity. The breakfast was good - selection of eggsto order , toast, Asian dishes and plenty of fruit as well - you could help yourself to as much as you wanted. Walking distance to most of the attractions and dining options. Quiet location as well which made for a good sleep. Shower hot as well. Overall I felt it was good value for the price. The only issue I had was they double charged my card for my stay, claimed I had left the hotel without paying - which was untrue as I paid when I arrived then they blamed Booking.com. I had kept my receipt as proof of payment and they refunded the second amount they had charged me in US dollars as I stipulated. So maybe keep an eye on your card if you use it or pay cash and get a receipt.

I stayed at the Aaron hotel twice in December 2019. What I like about this hotel: spacious room, huge bathroom, many toiletries, a lot of cabinets and drawers to store clothes, the Mekong river view, the fitness center. Everytime the staff helped us to park in front of the hotel as our car is to low to go down the parking lot. I stayed at many hotels in Vientiane and there is no hotel with such amenities at this price. The staff has been always friendly to me I cannot comment on their English as I converse with them in Lao. People complained about the breakfast but I stayed at Best Western Hotel next door and the breakfast was similar even if the room is twice the price of Aaron Hotel.

Large, decent room with a beautiful view of the Mekong. But a mattress as hard as a plank of wood, air conditioning barely working, dark lighting with 5W bulbs, the lack of hot water in the bathroom, and the loud noise from the road below made my 14 days stay unpleasant. This was reinforced by very, very basic food, always the same at each meal, with poor quality products (tasteless meat, sometimes giving the impression of eating cardboard). Don't hope to have any reduction, or gift, even small. I broke a glass and I was asked to pay 6 $ to replace it (the real cost is 0,8$). However, at the same time, I paid 910$ for my stay. I was there in a particular context, since I did about forty when I entered Laos. So my comments on the food do not relate to the restaurants at this hotel. But this is a hotel that I would not go back to and that I do not recommend

Good location and great room that has a bath. Older building. 2 things I don’t like. It’s a 4 star hotel but the gym whole good is falling apart almost everything is broken. Hotel is too lazy to fix and another offensive thing is a ************ mafia fake massage shop sharing the hotel car park where they probably get commission. So much for a conservative country it’s illegal but in Laos I guess you just need a bribe. It’s offensive because the government and hotel have given approval yet it carriers a huge prison term for foreigners doing that in the country some of there laws are like North Korea even worse then China

My family and I stayed here for our last 2 nights in Vientiane and we were not disappointed. Upon checking in we were greeted by refreshing cold drinks. The check in process was incredibly smooth. The hotel staff helped us move our bags to our two adjoining rooms. Our rooms overlooked the garden/pond and was extremely cozy. I only wished we had stayed longer. The pool was amazing! I found it rare to get deep pool that is swimmable in Laos and Thailand and this one did not disappoint! It was perfect. We were able to get poolside service too. We also dined at the restaurant and our dinner and drinks were great. It is hard to find nice cocktails in SEA outside of the major hotels and Green Park’s dry martini did not disappoint. My parents liked the hotel so much they even joined us the following night and rented their own room right next to ours. We had a fabulous time and will definitely be back to stay here since we have family in Laos. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.
