Clean, modern accommodation just up the hill from the river. It's on the Gaia side, but you can easily catch a river taxi over to the Porto side, or metro or an Uber. It's just a short walk up the hill ... maybe 5 minutes max. I was in a double room on the first floor, with a shared bathroom. Bathroom was always clean and I never had to wait to use it. Breakfast available each morning for a small charge. I would stay here again if I ever return to Porto.

We loved to stay at the Hostel. We rented a single room and it was very clean, the breakfast was delicious and fresh. Also the Hostel is very well located, close to the metro, train, and also to de River. The Hostel is located at walking distance from loads of wineries. They were flexible with the check in and check out. Would definetely stay again.

I criticized this hostel on the Booking website, saying the following: “since check-out was between 11 and 12 o’clock, the cleaning staff could refrain from cleaning the adjoining rooms with the vacuum cleaners and the like at 9:30 in the morning”. It so happens that today I received a personal message from the man who manages this hostel in a very disrespectful tone, which is why I will have to make it public, since my comment on the other website is not visible. In fact, this man clearly does not know how to deal with criticism and the frustration it causes him, just look at the way he responds to those who rate the hostel as less than “very good”. It seems like a culture of terror!!!! How disrespectful!!!! I will just say that we could hear all the noise in the hostel, so we told them that we were going to the festival but not drinking, since we had a car, and we arrived at the hostel at around 2 in the morning. We made a lot of noise entering, climbing the stairs and opening and closing the bedroom door. We didn't bump into anyone, absolutely anyone.

Hostel with very clean and very comfortable single rooms. Ideally located a stone's throw from the port opposite Porto, the view is magnificent and the night photos splendid. A lovely place, where you feel at home. They welcome you with a copy of Oporto, and a piece of cake, all very good. The room is perfect, with a large bed and very clean, which they make every day if you want. Breakfast has several things to choose from, both drinks and food. The staff is very friendly, we asked them how to get around and they told us everything perfectly and very kindly. The only downside is the parking, which is on the street, a paid area, and you can't park for 24 hours. Wir verbrachten 7 Tage in dieser Hostel. Die Zimmer sind zwäckmässig gross. Alles war immer sehr sauber, im Zimmer vermissten wir einen Tisch mit zwei Stühle, wir müssten immer auf dem Bett sitzen. Der Fernsehen ist viel zu klein und die Fenster kann man nicht lang aufmachen wegen dem Strassenlärm. Bis auf dem Hostelchef sind das gesamte Personal sehr nett und Hilfsbereit.
