Service from staff was fantastic! View is beautiful. Food is lovely. The staff are really good. We took a boat trip which was good also. If we ever get back to Mozambique we will be staying in this hotel again!! Sheila at reception was such a professional start and then all the waiting staff were great!

Great hotel in beautiful Vilanculos. Rooms - very good and modern. Service - excellent and the hotel is an ethical employer. Location - you walk onto the beach; take your flip flops off to jump into a speedboat for trips- we saw humpback whales migrating, dugongs and hundreds of flamingos. Go to the local (massive) market, Raul took us via tuktuk. Quite an experience the most friendly place ever though. Lots of sustainability projects to visit, get involved with, donate to etc. Trips to the islands e.g. Benguerra = paradise.

The Bahia Mar was lovely, as was Raquel, the manager. She was extremely helpful and accommodating to say the least. The view from our rooms was breathtaking! Keep in mind that initially, the steps down to the rooms and the beach may also be breathtaking at first :) Everything was spotless and they go to great lengths to protect you from mosquitoes.

We love this hotel which ticks all the boxes for our vacation needs. The sea view rooms have a great view towards the Bazaruto Archipelago, the pool area is well set out, the restaurant is solid and the spa/gym superb. The location in town gives easy accessibility to the airport, market & dive centre (which is excellent too). Highly recommended. However be aware of 2 potential issues: there are quite a number of steps to the sea view & presidential rooms, and the rooms have translucent curtains which means the rooms are bright at sunrise. Neither were an issue for us

Bahia Mar was a wonderful place to wrap up our honeymoon - peaceful and quiet with wonderful hospitality and very friendly staff. The rooms were comfortable with beautiful views, and we enjoyed all of the meals as well. There's plenty to do if you're looking for activities, otherwise you can just relax. We stayed three nights but could have easily stayed a week and would love to come back.

This was a very lovely and pleasant hotel. Amazing services wonderful staff, very welcoming. The rooms are clean and beautiful, the wifi works very well, the food is amazing and the hotel has beautiful grounds especially the area overlooking the Indian ocean.

Bahia Mar is a wonderful sanctuary with beautiful gardens, expansive sea views and an incredibly friendly and professional hospitality team. It was an absolute pleasure to stay there again and to have our entire workshop group hosted so perfectly over 3 days.
