I guess many people have said this, but it’s a great place to stay in Villach. Just across from the railway station and a short walk into the centre of Villach, even the economy room was fine - small, but comfortable, and we slept well. Breakfast is simply astonishing (would be worth staying a second night for this!). Plenty of storage for bikes. Great stay. Thank you!

Good location as short walk from the Old Town and surprisingly quiet. Room is a bit dated but it was a good size as was the bathroom. Dog friendly too. Parking available outside if any free. Our only gripe is that several times through the evening, there was a really strong smell of cigarette smoke which was so bad at some points in started coughing fits. Although we complained, as had others, the hotel was unable to track it down. A room change was not possible as they were fully booked. A small discount had to suffice.

Hotel City was convenient. We arrived by Flixbus and we just had to cross the street. Everything was fine. The reception was busy but staff were helpful. Breakfast was good but very busy. If you go to Villach be sure to reserve a restaurant! We arrived late on a Saturday and several restaurants were full. On Sundays many places are closed. We went to Landskron castle and it was nice. But we had to take a taxi because buses were not running on Sundays. Very convenient for the bike trail

We had some problems during our cycling tour and this hotel looked after us really well. Very flexible and helpful staff, clean modern rooms and a great breakfast. Thanks to everyone there particularly the very smart reception staff

Nice hotel near the station and very close to the center of Villach. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms quite large, clean and comfortable. Abundant and quality breakfast. Excellent private parking.
