Villebois is an old village above the Rhone that offers peacefulness in quaint surroundings. We booked a room for three which was basically two rooms connected with a shared bathroom. The rooms were clean and quiet and the swimming pool refreshed us after a very long day of biking. Breakfast was good as was dinner. Bikes are stored safely. Highly recommended!

We stayed at this hotel in June 2024 while on a bike tour from Geneva to Lyon. Highly recommend this place. Rooms are recently renovated and well equipped with plenty of electrical outlets for your electronic devices. There's a towel warming bar in the bathroom that can be used to dry your bike wear after a rinse in the sink. Bike storage area was equipped with plugs so our E-bike batteries could be recharged without removing them from the bike. The hotel has a small but well designed pool. Our genial hosts provided a dinner as well as a breakfast.

We were stopping twice on our way back to London from near Nice. We came through Vence then scenic mountainous roads to Grenoble. I'd wanted an overnight stop either there or somewhere East of Lyon (to avoid the dreaded A6). Villebois was perfect. It's got quite a grand history due to its stone quarries and there's clearly some serious Lyon money pouring in now. A Deux Pas is right in the centre, with plenty of secure parking and only has a few rooms. Ours was quite grand, with a comfy bed and large bathroom. The owner booked a local restaurant for us and we had a pleasant stroll round the town at sunset time. In the morning an excellent breakfast set us up nicely for the drive to Saint Quentin.

Bed and breakfast ideally located on the ViaRhôna and very close to the white water base of Sault Brenaz on the Rhône. 50 minutes from Lyon, far from the noise and bustle of the city, you can enjoy alone, with friends or family a great combo of Lyon's cultural and gastronomic capital plus outdoor activities (cycling, hiking in the Bugey massif, canoe kayak raft hydrospeed, fishing). A magnificently restored 14th century house, great comfort, large bedrooms, contemporary furniture and very good bedding. Closed and secure parking, natural swimming pool without chemicals in a pretty green setting. Possibility of catering on site thanks to a local homemade catering service, very generous and varied breakfast composed of local products. Finally, Thierry, a discreet, attentive host, efficient in meeting the requests and expectations of his customers. A Deux Pas du Rhéby offers 5-star value for money, why stop in impersonal chain establishments in urban environments?

Perfect rooms, very friendly welcome, generous breakfasts. Offers all the comfort and quality of a 2-star hotel but without the distance or the cold protocol found in the large chains.
